The price of liberty is eternal vigilance. This is what saying is about, not any external threats. The real threats are always internal.

Even though the language of the laws is thoroughly deceptive like “Privacy Protecting Age Verification System” it is exactly the opposite. Once you link a high-resolution facial scan with ID documents, you have the equivalent of a digital ID which will track everything you say on the Internet, because it is required at log-on and is attached to all accounts. It will also become required for access to bank accounts, your car, and anything else a tyrannical government desires which now exists to protect the billionaire pedo class.
Now there is a federal version coming down the road, . H.R. 8250. In this video a BBC reporter demonstrates what this kind of society will look like.
This April Massachusetts became the latest state to pass online “age verification” laws. Among the states, Michigan is pushing back.
Palantir owner Peter Thiel is a major player in this space, a major funder of Persona, which “verifies” ages for Discord, Reddit, Roblox, OpenAI, and hundreds of other platforms.
The civil liberties watchdog State of Surveillance writes of Persona:
“Their investors include Founders Fund, Peter Thiel's venture capital firm. The same Thiel who co-founded Palantir, ICE's surveillance contractor of choice.”
MSN: New federal bill would bring age verification to every operating system in America
“Your laptop might soon demand proof of age before letting you browse freely. H.R. 8250, a federal bill winding through Congress, requires every operating system provider in America to verify user ages and expose that data through APIs. This isn’t limited to social media apps-we’re talking about the core software running your PC, smartphone, and smart home devices.
The bill mirrors California’s A.B. 1043, which passed unanimously and takes effect January 2027. Similar legislation is advancing in Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, Texas, and Utah. The pattern is clear: age-gating is coming to your desktop whether you like it or not.”
