No Sweat. I have never done that. Most of the time, I don't even keep the camera connected to the tower. But, I have no illusions of total privacy. My pic has been in government file, including digital one all the way back to military days. Hell, that's my pic to the left of this post. The question here is: Is this an essential part of a modern, free society?

The problem if you don't have a verification system in place, is that China and Russia will manipulate this to try and destroy the country.

It's a superbly fine line, but it's a question of who you want controlling this. Your own government or the Chinese or Russian govts.

Now, if you say you don't trust your own govt, then there's a problem and perhaps the electoral system needs to change so you do get people who REPRESENT YOU, rather than the interests of the rich.

I don't see it soon. I figure I will be dead or beyond caring by the time it actually comes into play here in Tennessee, as I am already in my 70s.

I use (or possibly should say mis-use due to my mix) permethrin 36.8% concentrate, and keep my mosquitos controlled, though I do visit Florida, but usually do not have much mosquito problem, as we only lease right on the beach, and the sea breeze tend to limit the problem.
