actually you did not tell me anything, your opinion and how it effects you? It's not going to. I've told you this several times. You, with your vast knowledge and expertise in education, seem to be having a hard time accepting that.
I must have missed a smart board........oopsNot white boards anymore; smart boards. Read the article.
Puberty?10 is too young to be taught about sex, gay or otherwise. Or about sexual reproduction
???????????...
Musk, Japan maybe teachers like you are replaced by a 65 inch 4K with Ai that writes
their assignments, they ask an it tells them answers so they can learn
much better than most teachers who talk in riddle and you don't learn a damn thing
I had a teacher in college who could not explain his ass from a hole in the ground, yeah he sucked
CBL is an absolute failure in education. The military tried it for security training that is required every year. It had zero impact on learning because all you had to do to pass was right down the correct answers every time you took it and you had an unlimited number of times to take it. It was so simple to just guess the right answers that most people passed the first time without even having to review the videos. People refused to watch the videos because they were poorly made and quite boring.it did you as you seem to be making some big noise about ai is going to take over for teachers
computer learning has been around for ages......
Hell I learned some on an apple II......this is not new
never heard of CBL's? apple, microsoft, google, meta, walmart all do it so they don't pull everybody into a room and lecture
them on a white board about rules and regulations.......saves management tons of time
article states many parents.......maybe these parents are clueless about how a CBL works at young age?
not every parent is well informed.....some are just flat out dumb when computers are involved
That is the problem. You are generally ignorant about education, yet you argue with people who are intimately familiar because in Unk's place, he is still teaching and I retired after 21 years as a teacher and administrator.I must have missed a smart board........oops
have not been in school for a very long time, not up on what they are doing now
The story got your panties in a bunch though, that is why you posted it
ai is going to destroy the teachers union

Its not something 6-year old children should be bombarded withImagine children learning their are gay people in the world or how important protection is during intercourse.
Parents?Puberty?

Not formal sex education6 year olds? NO.
Technology could replace nearly every teacher right now, save for many 'hands-on' technical school instructors. Many people want to believe the all-mighty technology will replace teachers real soon. We have been using technology for some time now, and it is more than encouraged by the admin side. Worse still, too many teachers have come to rely on "learning software" of various sorts. Some have come to use it the way some teachers in the old days would put their feet up on their desks and read the newspaper while students were just told to read chapter this or that. We know that "remote learning" was a disaster.
Looks like humans are still needed after all.

One of the biggest fights in education right now revolves around this school software
If you talk to a parent about technology in the classroom, one brand of software comes up again and again — and the feedback is typically critical.www.chalkbeat.org
