So how much of his campaign was bullshit then?
So every President before him kept 100% of his campaign promises?

Meh, Trump tried and failed, I can live with it because (hopefully) he won't sign-off on more spending in a land that the US has no vested interest in.
Keeping neocon congress member's PACs fat with MIC money is not Trump's job.
EU's back door, EU's problem, and that is the same as I have viewed the whole thing since Day 1.
Lesser and Greater Russia can slug it out till the cows come home as far as I am concerned.
Truth be told if the EU really cared they would not be buying Russian energy.
Trump wanted peace. MAGA wanted peace.
Biden and the dems wanted endless war.
While Russia is invading them? Nope. You are supporting a murderous regime.Guessing you would never end support to Ukraine.
Gas is under 3 bucks, haven't seen that in how long?He ran on this. Just like lowering prices. Neither is within reach. Makes you wonder what else he lied about doesnt it?
Do you have something else irrelevant to the point to note?
Zelensky refused to surrenderThe tantrum was all Zelinsky's you uninformed nutcase. He agreed to sign the deeply negotiated contract but then reneged 3 times. He can fight his war himself.

Zelensky refused to surrender
Why wasn’t Trump a tough guy with Putin?
Seems to me if that was the case they would be all over their EU buddies to end the war themselves. The problem is a Russian win in Ukraine emboldens them against the Baltics and Poland, and those countries are our friends, and good ones at that. Notice they aren't the ones bitching about our policies. They want Russia to lose but realize complaining about how the US wants to help is counterproductive.
This is the point. The left is trying to gin up a point, becasue Trump tried for peace and has not gotten it, at least not yet.
But, Bidne, Harris, they would not have even tried.
So.... MAGA supported Trump.
ANd moving forward, we see want peace. We are not giving up. At some point, hopefully russia will get tired of seeing their young men die and we can have peace.
YOu seem to think this is more about a partisan gotcha.
No one else cares about that.
Seems to me if that was the case they would be all over their EU buddies to end the war themselves.
From the Donbas to the Polish border is one hell of a buffer zone.
The War continues Russia will take Odessa. You have to think like a Russian. Even the Soviets use to think like Russians.
Russia wants it's old empire back.
The War continues Russia will take Odessa.
Ukraine will eventually lose all access to the Black Sea.
No, it was over his foolish brags. I'm still waiting on that great health care plan he had ready to go that everyone was going to love.
Trump could have simply said "I will work hard to bring peace".
As an aside he could have actually easily did it. All he had to do was tell Ukraine that there was no more money and he wouldn't support admission to NATO and that they better negotiate the best deal they can get.
Yeah. They been bribing Turkey to join them. Turkey seems to be leaning that way.Russia still wants Constantinople (Istanbul)
Yeah. They been bribing Turkey to join them. Turkey seems to be leaning that way.
Turkey funded ISIS and in control of Syria basically now.Turkey's current government, but they are having domestic issues as well.
He wasn’t counting on the EU to encourage Zelenskyy to fight to the last Ukrainian, but if that’s what they want, let them have itSo Trump was elected on the notion that he would end the war in 24 hours. Now after 2,107 hours his new plan is to give up. Much like healthcare we are treated to "Who knew peace could be so hard"? That is the Trump Brand. To give up in failure.
1. Healthcare (Repeal and Replace)
2. Mexico will pay for the wall
3. We will have 3, 4, 5% GDP
4. We will lower prices on Day 1
5. It's Infrastructure Week!
6. I will end this war in 24 hours
Still has a few days to pull something out according to Rubio. Fingers crossed!
US will abandon Ukraine peace efforts ‘within days’ if no progress made, Rubio warns
The United States could end its efforts on ending the Ukrainian conflict within “days” if there are no signs of progress, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned Friday.
“If it is not possible to end the war in Ukraine, we need to move on,” he told reporters before departing Paris, where he had held high-level talks with European and Ukrainian officials. “We need to determine very quickly now, and I’m talking about a matter of days, whether or not this is doable,” he said.
Moscow has stalled on negotiations and rejected a ceasefire proposal agreed by Kyiv. Having promised on the campaign trail to end the fighting in a day, US President Donald Trump more recently said “Russia has to get moving.”
“President (Trump) has spent 87 days at the highest level of this government repeatedly taking efforts to bring this war to and end. We are now reaching a point when we need to decide and determine whether this is even possible or not. Which is why we’re engaging both sides.”
Meanwhile, Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine overnight, hitting a residential neighborhood of the city of Kharkiv. The strike killed one person and wounded 67 others, authorities said Friday, adding they feared more people could be trapped beneath the rubble of a damaged apartment building.
Thus, as i said, your focus is the partisan gotcha.
You refuse to address teh real meat of the issue, ie the divide between those that would like PEACE and those that want ENDLESS WAR.
