Top 10 States by SNAP share of population… Plus an apology

Zero illegal immigrants get food stamps in this country
and now you have also removed/ruled out xenophobia and bias along with partisan politics as reasons for the cuts...I have to admit your conservative bona fides may actually be real...now all you have to do is show the actual numbers [as opposed to percentages] and how they are distributed between the blue and red districts in each state and this lesson will be complete [don't be afraid]...so anyway why does California have jobs for all "illegals" but not all its citizens?

California still leads the nation numerically simply because their population is so enormous.
Not sure how CFG missed that.... But then again if you look at his moniker and then look at his posts you do have to wonder whether or not he's even sane.

Alright, I’ll eat some humble pie. I used to blast California for “leading the nation in food stamps,”

Plenty of deep-red states…Louisiana, Alabama, West Virginia, Oklahoma…are ahead of California when it comes to the percentage of their people on SNAP. California sits around 14th place, roughly one in seven residents. So, yeah…turns out the state everyone loves to call a freeloading wasteland isn’t eating the biggest slice after all. My apologies to California, and maybe a little math lesson for the rest.

But that is not evidence that it is the Republican voters who are the part of the population that is receiving SNAP.
You are attempting to use the Electoral College results to make a conclusion.

The government should give less money to poor people?

I just like him admitting that Republicans are the party for the poor. Democrats hate to admit they're the party of the rich.

There is a reason why we don't hear Republicans complaining about the rich getting tax cuts or about not getting enough welfare.
The majority of poor people vote Democrat.
The majority of the middle class vote Republican.
The rich are about 50/50.

Rich people suck. I agree. What’s Elon’s and Trump’s net worth again?

Yet the democrats are keeping the poorest among us waiting for the benefits they were promised. Democrats look at the poor with contempt.
Trump administration was just in court begging not to give any food stamps at all to recipients in November.
Gaslighter.
