Top 10 Ridiculous Examples of Corporate Greed

Or just good business practices that deliver profits to their shareholders

This is petty shit, Michael, corporations HAVE to make a profit or they go out of business. Why not complain that the government WASTES money by the trillions because it DOESN'T have a profit motive because they STEAL money from taxpayers and they BORROW money they never intend to pay back and they PRINT money to make up the difference?

Top 10 Ridiculous Examples of Corporate Greed

The greed within our society is sicking to behold.

Really Matthew is this the best you could find?

The best item was on abusing the 'free range' label to sell the same produce at higher costs.
In America there was something similar with "dolphin-free" labels being unenforceable so these became meaningless.

Why didn't you go for the entire pharmaceutical industry that
makes money off keeping people dependent on medications?

People have been cured of conditions ranging from manic depression
to schizophrenia by using spiritual therapy for healing that is free and natural!
Never mind the number of cases of cancer cured by natural therapy instead of relying on expensive medical procedures.

Why didn't you go there? or did the pharmaceuticals not pay enough money to lobby for that message to get out?

What about the legal lobby and monopoly that influences 80% of govt?

No mention of the cost of private contracts benefiting off
war, mental health and prison industries? Public officials
getting their health insurance paid for while everyone else gets stuck with trash?

I thought you were going to give us the real deal Matthew
C'mon don't tease us like this

Eh -- most of 'em weren't that bad, I've certainly heard worse (and no mention of Monsanto??)

Except for number 6, milking money out of the blood of dead terrorist victims. That's pretty damn sleazy.

I like the airplane wash idea though. Wonder how many quarters you need to go through an automated plane wash. That would be cool.

plane wash is horrible manifestation of capitalism while 120 million slowly starved to death under libsocialism is what??????

Stupid. I'm critical of our form of capitalism - and a capitalist. It's a FREE market, dont like it, spend your welfare check somewhere else

Our system is failing the populace and is not sustainable. We wont survive without a middle class and all the kids in my town need to believe in American Dream if we want them to push it forward. The Bush/Greenspan recession combined with Obama's divisive politics has taken it's toll on entrepreneurship - something zero interest rates cannot overcome.

I couldn't find more current information but I believe most research will point to a decline in entrepreneurial activity. There is something big happening in our economy and neither the billionaire protecting republican establishment nor the race baiting democrats can solve it - in fact they are each the problem.

The top ten most ridiculous examples of government malfeasance, makes that list look like child's play.

Yes, extremely greedy people can be nuisance. Most greedy of all the leftists - who believe other people's money belongs to them, all the while complaining how greedy those people are.

Or just good business practices that deliver profits to their shareholders
Sometime in the 70s the rich stopped caring about workers.

In their utopia shareholders are all that matter.

That's no good for workers or America as we've seen.

But cons will blame liberals as if paying workers a fair wage is why we are broke.

Erm... pretty sure that it's actually the LAW that the CEOs work for the shareholders, not the workers. In all fairness, it would result in a complete disaster if this was the other way around. The shareholders hired the CEO not the workers.

It really is sad how ignorant some people are.

When the unions controlled United Airlines, how did they treat their workers?

That's what the dims always say but they are the problem. They support everything that harms business then wonder where the jobs went. There has been a massive amount of new regulations added to business and almost all of it by executive order. obama is killing us and libtards blame Republicans, it's beyond stupid.

Business feeds the economy and in a better economy everyone does better because companies then have to compete for workers instead of 1,000 guys applying for a shit job.

We support higher wages. Labor costs hurt corporations and shareholders

If Democrats understood business they would get support from both sides. The US middle class has been gutted - the Republicans work for the billionaire CEO's and the Democrats support nincompoops like Obama and Bernie. People who know NOTHING about business or wages or payrolls. A capitalist populist (Ross Perot) is what the Dems need but they are a party of such morons they would never elect someone with real world experience.

- the Republicans work for the billionaire CEO's.

is this because the billionaire CEOs( those that are Republican) get to vote 1000's of times for the same candidate or because they make secret contributions that only you know about?

companies then have to compete for workers instead of 1,000 guys applying for a shit job.

this is so true. A liberal will lack the IQ to know that a business must have the best products in the world, and the best jobs, just to survive. This is why capitalist countries are so rich.
