Time to Restate Zone 1 Rules

This forum used to be loose and fun. Now it's you can't say this word, starting a thread is ridiculous, you have one "mod" that seems incessant on the "Thread closed" and then gets all limped when confronted and bans even in off forum messages. That's wrong... right Ok Texas
? Wrong move, seriously wrong move
Dissent has been stifled since MacArthur chased my G-father off the white house lawn in '32 Sassy one

Our Gub'mit has either been directly or indirectly involved .....there's always a brownshirt available to do their bidding

This is a matter of constitutionality

You know why the 1st is first? Because it tells it's constituency where to point it's guns granted by the 2nd

Respect this

Other countries do not

They can't speak out

And the Trolls know it

. . . note the excuse making for the current administration ;

You’re becoming more overt, aren’t you? :omg:

I was a member of another forum from 2008 to about a year ago. It kept getting more and more and more restrictive to the point that I felt like I was in handcuffs all the time. I always thought "discussion forums" were places where people "discussed" things.
"Discussion"? - I don't see any discussion in those "specific" threads - they are just a vent for people to express their "unsubstantiated" hate and to incite more prejudiced hate.

trying to drag this discussion down the 'hate rathole' is all you got?

There is NO discussion - just people venting their "unsubstantiated" hate, irrational thoughts and only keen on inciting more hate against those who have different opinions.

A discussion is the act of talking about a topic with others, sharing ideas, opinions, or viewpoints to understand a subject better. It involves a conversation or debate, often aimed at exploring solutions or analyzing different perspectives on a matter.

So just posting ones opinion: that e.g. Muslims are animals or Israelis are animals - isn't a discussion

Neither are one-liner reply's, those only resorting towards foul language, or trying to degrade another poster opinion whilst ignoring/avoiding the topic as such - see your reply.

Their game, their rules.

It's all about money for you little toads.

Nevermind the header for USMB that says where your voices can be heard. Suddenly it's with rules, a money grab, with stipulation?

Sounds leftist to me.

We all see through you

Nevermind the lag on here, it's laughable and nobody is going pay for that nonsense

Damn, but the paranoia runs rampant on USMB.

Benny speaks with Randy Fine, who is advancing a bill regarding dual citizenship and congressional duties.

Oh no, it's a Jew who put this forwards! Whatever will MisterBeale and Natural Citizen and sparky say now?

These are good rules.... Get 'er done.

BQ: Why get 'er done?

The US government does not require members of Congress to disclose dual citizenship, so there is no official list or tally, and so no comprehensive, verified public data exists.

This bill will change all that. Then Americans can see just who has been swimming without trunks when this tide goes out.

It will not bode well for both parties, possibly, but I put forward that it's the Democrats who will be majorly undressed when this passes.

Thomas Massie's previously introduced bill actually has teeth across the board, however.

Which is why Fine followed behind with his own version which, predictably, and by design, does not...

H.R.2356 - Dual Loyalty Disclosure Act...

You don't get it. Massie can't get 'er done even if they were the same bill and no democrat amendments. The same goes with Rand Paul. He will never put anything of value that hits the table, let alone passes...imo... because he touches grass with the Democrats far too much.

Randy can.

And Massie's lost so much support. :(

That's what he gets for siding with the Dems. This is an interesting time, even if he wins another term as a useless tool except for Democrat votes.

Johnson would never let a bill with actual teeth come up for a vote.

He's proven that many, many times, particularly with Massie's legislation.

He'll let the one without teeth by design come up for a vote, though, no doubt.

So far as whether Massie wins his primary, I'm beginning to believe that the swamp won't let it happen, even if he does have the votes.

Special interests , particularly the ones responsible for all of that money, don't pour 26 million dollars into a campaign, making it the highest spent in American history, over a single seat in the House.

Nope. You only do that when you really, really, really want to siilence want to silence someone for whatever reason.

We will see soon enough.

Massie will get nothing tabled. You are looking in the democrat crystal ball of the future and so is Massie. That is the ball of cray.

We shall see soon enough. I prefer to stay in the here and now and look at the trending.

The trending looks rather good.

What is said to be''trending'' is really only a form of ''persuasion'' these days.

Polymarket, for instance, is a perfect example of that.

Particularly given who owns stake in it. I imagine they're buying a shitload for Trump's endorsee for the specific purpose of persuasion.

Which renders it a meaningless model to gauge ''trends.''

Persuasion is the name of the political game. Building coalitions, selling your vision, horse-trading, whipping votes, and making people believe your way advances their interests also.

This is how you actually pass bills and move the ball, since in a pure democracy/republic with 435 House members and 100 Senators, you need numbers.

Principles alone don't pass legislation, persuasion + leverage do, and once persuasion in all of its forms fails, then there are tougher times ahead.

There may be tougher times ahead, and there may not... for America, of course. There will be tougher times for Europe, the UK, Australia, Canada, etc, for the times of borders is now also virtual.

The wall is now virtual. That's one hell of a persuasion. The UAE jumped on it...

The only thing I ever wanted out of that whole Epstein thing was for Massie to demonstrate to the electorate how to get around a Speaker and a President who refuse to let a vote come to the floor and to demonstrate that it can be done regardless.

And Massie got around the obstacles and accomplished that in the form of a discharge petition.

427-1 was the result when Massie went old school and Johnson and Trump couldn't stop it from coming up for a vote.

Then, predictably, Johnson began trying, and I believe is still trying, to abolish the use of discharge petitions after it was demonstrated that, yes, you can accomplish things when you remove the swamp's ability to strategicially block you from accomplishing anything.

You're living in la-la land.

Amount of Epstein documents released by Bush - 0
Amount of Epstein documents released by Obama - 0
Amount of Epstein documents released by Biden - 0

Context:

The big waves of Epstein file releases (millions of pages) only happened after Trump returned to office in 2025, via the Epstein Files Transparency Act that he signed.

That’s when the DOJ started dumping large tranches.

This is one batch; you can figure out how to navigate the site.

Had Harris won? It would be...

Amount of Epstein documents released by Harris - 0... imho

I told you what my specific interest in it was in my previous post.

Massie was able to undermine Jonson and Trump's aggressive activity to block it from coming up for a vote at all via usual shenanigans

They failed after Massie went around them with the discharge petition.

They couldn't stop it after that.

It was a victory in that regard alone. That was the real victory.

The fact that it was 427-1 when it finally did come up for a vote was just a bonus and served as a demonstration of why they work so hard to block legislation introduced by people like Massie in the first place.

They can only run that ''you don't get anything done'' gambit if they are able to continue blocking your bills from ever coming up for a vote.

It wasn't a victory, unless you consider it a pyrrhic one. Nothing was gained politically ... and he's lost what little support he had.

Trump had already signed the Congressional release... signed on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Bondi sat on it.

Trump got it released anyway and then fired Bondi.

So, your victory is in your own head and resides with the narrative that has been spoon-fed you.

Massie will get NO support. He grabbed some others and grandstanded, but he's failed.

Well done.
