With regard to the latter, I find that one to be rather half-assed. I always get a chuckle when you get a maude edit of your content but then leaves every other instance where the non-edited version of the same content was quoted.

What's really the point of a maude edit if you're just gonna leave every other quoted instance of the unedited content on the open board if the reason provided for performing the maude edit in the first place was for posting unapproved content on the open board?

Kind of contradicts the logic in the maude edit in the first place, other than just wanting to demonstrate one's ah thaw ruh tie.

I was a member of another forum from 2008 to about a year ago. It kept getting more and more and more restrictive to the point that I felt like I was in handcuffs all the time. I always thought "discussion forums" were places where people "discussed" things.
