Something don't look right about that. They say he resisted arrest, but you don't put your weight on a guy's neck like that and just keep it there long after he's able to be cuffed and thrown in the car, long after he's stopped moving as people yell that the guy ain't breathing. It looked like the guy pissed himself. That's a sign of unconsciousness. What does fncceo have to say about this? What's his explanation? I'm afraid if I was there in a large group and I thought a person was being killed for no reason, I would have rushed those police and had me some cop-burger. What is wrong with those people to just stand there and watch a person die?

An almost unbelievable air of virtue signaling and swallowing the bait—hook, line and sinker—permeates this thread. It's sickening to read, really. The media is (of course) framing this as a racially motivated murder, an intentional hate crime . . . and so many of you fools are going all you can eat buffet style on the racism narrative. The hammer is already dropping as I predicted it would. Four of the police officers involved with the Floyd killing have been FIRED, not just suspended, the FBI is looking into it, the mayor of Minneapolis is seeking charges of murder against the cop with knee on neck, and the city has gone crazy with violence, looting and at least one death so far. GOOD ONE, POLICE!

The MPD has long been troubled, and its current Chief is African-American. The issue isn’t racism, it is incompetence.

A rational person might ask: given that Minneapolis has been governed by liberal Democrats for decades, and is now a mess in a multitude of ways, including the fact that its police department has been involved in one fiasco after another, why don’t we try something different? Why don’t we go back to electing Republicans, as we did decades ago? When Republicans governed Minneapolis, it was generally regarded as a model city–prosperous, progressive and remarkably crime-free. Isn’t it time to draw the curtain on decades of failed leadership, exemplified by underqualified leftists like the current Boy Mayor, Jacob Frey?
