If North Korean soldiers are so dedicated why do they defect? I don’t see an exodus from the South? Loss of life would be terrible...but this is what happens when you don’t finish the job in 1951.

The US got the crap kicked out of it from Nov 50 to early 51 by the Red Chinese.

They infiltrated 250,000 soldiers under MacArthur's nose between 10th Corps and 8th Army.

They drove us south of Seoul and the Han. If they had mechanized logistics, they would have destroyed those forces as they did the American forces in July of 50.

North Korea will invade Japan? Most of 2nd Division destroyed? Don’t think so.

A fool would think the NK could invade Japan. A smart man would know that NK can missile attack Japan. Any smart man who had been a soldier along the DMZ knows just how fragile the 2nd ID is along that line if the NKs open with artillery, missiles, and wave attacks.

And, fwiw, there are quite a few who join our military who decide to go UA (Unauthorized Absence), or even desert. Our military is an all volunteer military, yet we still have "defectors".

By the way.................how many of your relatives are you willing to enlist in the fight? Me? I've already done my 20, and was in 4 different war zones during that time, so my military days are more than completed.

We don't need to bomb anyone. If they prepare a launch pad with a ballistic missile then take it out. Nothing more.

If it is just sitting on a launch pad, you can't know for sure if it has a nuke warhead or not, as well as don't know where it is going to go. Hitting it before it launches is considered an act of war, and there would be a huge outcry from the rest of the world if we did so.

If it did launch? We would have only around 3 min. to hit it with a missile before it is going too fast to be caught. And, in order to do that, there would have to be continual combat air patrols around the country 24/7.
