The message in the video is paradoxical. On the one hand, the Bible tells us to "love thy neighbor" and to "do unto others as you would have others do unto you." The Bible also says to "judge not lest ye be judged." But the video message is literally telling us to "judge" whether a person is worthy of our help or not.
So does the Bible teach that we "love our neighbors" except for 8 of them? Does the Bible teach that we should not judge others except for 8 types of others?
Now I personally avoid evil when I have the choice to do so. I avoid allying myself with folks who openly deny Christ or who willingly and knowingly commit crimes of varying degrees.
On another note: "Helping others" can also mean different things. It doesn't always have to be monetary or materialistic. Sometimes it may involve giving good advice or pointing them to a public service that may fulfill their needs. But even the beggars who never seem to change CAN change. So it's my opinion that they shouldn't just be dumped by the wayside and forgotten. Yes ... we can stop allowing them to drain us of money, resources, and time but perhaps we could change our approach. I like being direct and honest. I've told beggars that I'm not a bank nor is it my responsibility to babysit adults but that I'll be there when he/she decides to take responsibility for themselves.
The video talks about people who are lost, and are deciding to operate in unGodly ways, so righteous judgement is allowed in such cases, but of course if one is guilty themselves of the judgement that is therefore about to be given or is given, then that person must be aware that God doesn't agree with the hypocrite at all, otherwise if are judging a person in such a hypocritical way.
Yes people can change with good guidance or righteous judgements being rendered indeed, but if a person refuses to change, and therefore they quickly use an unrighteous rebuttal against the person that is trying only to help them, then it best to get away from that person before that person attempts to see your kindness as a weakness in a situation.
A person truly seeking help will come forth with honesty and humbleness, and they won't be employing or showing the characteristics in which the video is warning the good people about.
One must understand and know the differences between the character's that are being dealt with in life. The Lord if called upon will give one the decernment needed to be aware of the dangerous characteristics seen in individuals who are not truly Christian's and/or believers that practice good faith and standards (although fighting their own sin's along with their trials and tribulations that come and go everyday of their lives also), it is that they can still participate in using good judgement and giving out good information based on experiences or educational knowledge as long as they aren't being hypocrites themselves when doing so.
In summary it's ok to judge and discern between characteristics shown in those being encountered in one's life, and all in order to help them or protect oneself from them if necessary, but stay away from the pot that calls the kettle black attribute or understand better the verse that says judge not, least ye be judged, otherwise if one is judging from an unrighteous or hypocrite position in one's life don't do it.
Now if one has sinned a specific sin, and has stopped or gotten away from a specific sin (healed), then that person is allowed to give information or righteous judgement to another that he or she sees falling into the same deadly trap. Usually such judgement is righteous and good, and it is intended to help that person to avoid further danger, yet the person who has found comfort in their sin will reject such caring judgement, and will use in a misinterpreted way the scriptures in order to accuse the righteous judge as being unfair and uncaring when judging the sin that the person is engaging in.
In order to have a civilized and Godly society, then sin must be judged or called out in hopes to save the sinner along with the society from the sinner to certain degrees and/or levels.
Our entire justice system was built upon these important tenant's, but as we see these rogue unrighteous Democrat judge's, well they have almost destroyed through perverted rulings what was supposed to be righteous judgement being cast down from the bench our justice system...
They have turned the courts into a mockery that is no longer based on Godly principles or judgements, but rather they have turned it into the devil's den where sin is celebrated by short stays and slaps on the wrists for those that are seething to re-offend.
The video above has educational value of a great worth to individuals who are encountering specific individual's that are sin loving human beings, otherwise who are impersonating good human beings by way of using acquired attributes that are of the devil in hopes to deceive and destroy those good human beings in which they hate for their master with.
