Tim Ryan concession speech: A Lesson in Democracy

The MAGA repubs need to watch this. Losing with class is a demonstration of dignity.

I am from Ohio. Tim Ryan lied his ass off the entire campaign. He also distanced himself from Biden despite voting with Nancy and Joe 100%. The dude is not stupid and is not going to burn bridges with the voters and will run again, so it benefits him to play nice.

The Neo-GOP proved they are the party of spiteful revenge. Trying to kick the losing candidate so hard they can never get back up is the goal. No opportunity to insult them, no matter how vile it may be, is passed up
If Senate control comes down to another run off in Georgia, expect trump to repeat his trip to the state, as he did in 2020. There is NOTHING that enthuses Democrats more than being able to vote against a candidate that trump endorses.

PLEASE GO TO GEORGIA AGAIN, DONALD!

...or to have someone vote for them.

You lefties put way too much empathises on concession speeches. The winner wins. The loser loses. The winner takes office. The loser doesn't. So, what if the loser never concedes? It's not like they are going to show up for work and move in anyway, despite the election results. Trump never conceded his loss in 2020 and he's been out of office for two years now.

The point of it is that conceding a loss is a normal, correct, above board, and sporting thing to do. It gives the winner validation and lays to rest the acrimony of the campaign.

You are correct, Trump did not concede his defeat in 2020. He was the first President to refuse the peaceful transition of power. He mounted an unsuccessful coup attempt and insurrection on 1/6/2021 in order to keep himself in power.
And we have paid DEARLY as country for that.

It is lefties who make a big deal out of something that is basically irrelevant.

So, what if the loser never concedes? It's not like they are going to.....

...... believe the lies the loser tells and eventually riot, storming the Seat of Government like Musolini's Fascists making demands to seat the loser. That would never happen and is "inconceivable" isn't it?

What on Earth are you talking about?

Why yes. It's part of the war we are fighting.

Trump is practically and morally responsible for the riots at the Capitol and it all started with him refusing to make the traditional concession speech in which he should have calmed down the rabid dogs that eventually stormed the Capitol and landed themselves in the Government's Crossbar Hotel. They would have been better off if he had, dontcha think?
