Three years left to limit warming to 1.5C, leading scientists warn

Fake, irrelevant CCP Propaganda. That's the tell that the Climate Cult is just shilling for the CCP and trying to drag down the US economy

China emits 4 times the CO2 per person of India

In the US we emit 13.8 tons of Carbon per capita, per year.
In China, it is 9.24 tons.
India is 2.7 tons.

Used to be much worse, but it appears China is trying to catch up to the US?

It's very relevant.

No its not, because even if global warming does not kill us all, it would still bankrupt us all to have to move to higher ground if all the ice melts and oceans rise by over 200'.

The fact dinosaurs did not mind the heat does not mean we can survive it.

Reduce farting, so I'm doing my part by reducing my baked bean consumption and re-watching Blazing Saddles incase the Alarmists think farts come out of DVD's too.

Methane is not a problem.
It rapidly decomposes.
The only problem is CO2 since it does not go away naturally, and only plants can remove it.

It's very relevant. The earth has experienced those conditions many times. The seas do not increase 200' over night. Temperatures do not go up 5c+ over night. Co2 doesn't go up many ppm overnight. Why do you think mankind won't survive what is not happening overnight 🤔

If 450ppm/480ppm co2 is high, why do producers pump over 1,000ppm into greenhouses? 🤔

Athletes train and high altitude to acclimatise to the low oxygen. It doesn't take them long. Why didn't they die? 🤔

Have you thought about this at all?

So is CO2 an existential threat or not?

You do not know what they meant by "global cooling" in the 1970s.
What they meant is that there is a 110k long natural warming/cooling cycle, and the warmest part of that cycle was around 15k years ago.
So now the normal cycle should be cooling.
But so slowly no one would notice.

The current artificial warming cycle is over 2000 times faster than normal, and has no upper limit.
We don't know how hot it will make things, and this new artificial warming is on top of the hottest part of the natural cycle.
So fix it, Einstein.

Do you want my car keys?

With regard to the planet's climate, you can consider me your god.
Then pray tell:

Nearly 200 countries agreed to try to limit global temperature rises to 1.5C above levels of the late 1800s in a landmark agreement in 2015, with the aim of avoiding some of the worst impacts of climate change. (from the OP)

How was global climate temparature measured in the late 1800? What instruments were used, where were measurements taken?
Are climate scientists using the same instruments and locations today to eliminate discrepancies caused by using different instruments and locations?

They use ocean temperatures and satellites.

and neither one of those shows any warming at all in the ACTUAL UNFUDGED DATA.

Here's the documentation of the 2005 FUDGE JOB of the satellite data...

The current artificial warming cycle is over 2000 times faster than normal,

Earth is not warming. Surface Air Pressure proves that. You are a complete moron, a parrot of the fudge and lies of the most obvious fraud in the history of science...

CO2 does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

It's been warmer in the past and none of this doom and gloom happened ... oh, except we invented agriculture when it was warmer ... that's a bad thing, right? ...
Wrong. It was not warmer when we started agriculture. Not only that, there was not the problem of 8 billion plus people to feed. There have been several bottlenecks in our numbers during our evolution brought on by rapid climate change. From sudden cooling from volcanos, to rapid desertification. Within our history as a species, whole civilizations have collapsed from desertification.

My, my, and I have several college chemistry textbooks that state exactly the opposite. Now who to believe, some silly anonymous flap yap on the internet or the PhD's in chemistry that wrote those books. And, no, you are simply lying about the satellite and ballon data.

Sounds like they broke the First Law of Climate Predictions.

The predicted doom must be close enough to scare people into giving you money and power to do "research" and boss people around, but not so close that people catch on when the doom fails to materialize and yank said money and power away.

True, however, the rate that we have produced CO2 and CH4 has overwhelmed these natural sinks. In fact, we have even now made part of one major sink, permafrost, into a net emitter. Also, fires and logging are now devastating the Amazon rain forest, a forest that has been termed the lungs of the planet. So from 280 ppm at the start of the Industrial Revolution to present, we have an increase to 421 ppm of CO2, and an increase of CH4 from about 700 ppb to 1935 ppb at present.

Silly ass. No major scientist that I know of is predicting doom. What they are predicting is that we are going to see some rough times because of the effects of a changing climate caused by global warming. And the start of that time is already here, and costing us infrastructure and lives. Kern County, Texas, 4July25.

So 1.5c is not a tipping point then? If not, then what's all the fuss about? Who cares if there's only "THREE YEARS LEFT!!!!!!"

And after we hit 1.5c, then when will the next non-doom doom be? 2.0c? How many years will be left for that?

And after that, what? 2.5c? 3.0c? Who cares!? It's not like there's a doom prediction here!

Citation? ... the ice core data shows thermal maximum at ca. 10,000 BP ... 2ºC above 20th Century average ...

You're bouncing around ... where's your evidence climate change had anything to do with the genetic bottleneck ... now it's desertification, just throwing that out there because you can't back up your claims? ...

Of course. The floods in Texas must be "climate change".

Because there were never large floods before.
