I just changed my desktop background to this:

I like darker desktops cuz I leave my pc on all the time, Sherry. I just minimize the window to the desktop and bubble screensaver. If it is too bright..it blasts my eyes beneath my eyelids.
Mudwhistle posted a gorgeous pic that I am now using as my desktop.

Ooh!! Sherry!!! Great thread!!

I really like this one. The colors are vibrant and the picture is serene. This gave me a great idea for a wall in a room that I just had redecorated.
