Thoughts on Tim Kaine?

I'm pretty sceptical that Tim Kaine will be of any real significance.
Can Tim Kaine win the game for Hillary?

The above article points out just how ineffectual VP picks are. What do you think?

Kaine did nothing for the Commonwealth as Governor. He was too busy running the DNC.

Ditto as Senator. Nothing of import, and what few rational POVs he held have been sublimated to Hillary's.

As to how he will benefit Clinton? Who can say? Northern Virginia has had an infusion of bone-headed idiots the last decade or so and has turned into Maryland.

Strong choice by Hillary but I'm surprised she didn't go with Warner. There is no scenario where Trump can win without Virginia and I think Hillary is close to locking it up with Kaine as her VP and McAuliffe as governor.

Vice presidents never make much of a difference, do they? Kaine seems likeable, does a great job of talking up the boss. Not a lot of mistakes from him.
