Before W and Fox News, the GOP was a shining light of perfection on the issue of EQUALITY. Opposed slavery, segregation, affirmative action, DEI, preferences, quotas etc.

Merit oriented only.

But Fox News has "polluted" the GOP with bigots, the "Pro Israel Christians," the LBJ supporters. They aren't conservatives, they aren't the slightest bit Republican. They don't care about truth or America. They think they are "better" than you because "they believe" a 2000 year old book that claims stars are the same size as figs, the Sun orbits the Earth, and "soon" means more than 2000 years from now.
