So, if we are not a “representative democracy” what are we?The first BS is that we are a Democracy. I proved we are not a Democracy. Democracy is not mentioned by the Constitution.
See even you know it is a Republic. Thanks for admitting it. Say, what is your original language? We all know the USA is a republic.
Your contemptible appeals to division expose you as an enemy within.Democrats have dragged the US down, and really got started a lot in 1933 by electing FDR.
Your little, petty, silly games would be merely amusing if they did not feed int a long time battle within the nation seeking to divide Americans against each other, in order to make ideological and political gains that aim at seeking control of the American public, by keeping them at each other's throats over such silly issues.See even you know it is a Republic. Thanks for admitting it. Say, what is your original language?
We're a nation of dupes? So, if we are not a “representative democracy” what are we?
That post is an excellent example. Glad you admit it.Your little, petty, silly games would be merely amusing if they did not feed int a long time battle within the nation seeking to divide Americans against each other, in order to make ideological and political gains that aim at seeking control of the American public, by keeping them at each other's throats over such silly issues.
This nation is a Republic. So, if we are not a “representative democracy” what are we?
You're an idiot. That post is an excellent example. Glad you admit it.
Robert W. suffers from Dunning-Kruger syndrome. We're a nation of dupes?
Wrong. That is not how a Democracy would work. You conflate things and I'm not even sure how aware of it you are. No t that it would matter to you. This nation is a Republic.
Let me try this to help you.
Were we a Democracy, we all would get mail very often demanding we vote. At least asking us to. A Democracy is narrowly defined. When the greeks invented it, every citizen voted on every official act. No talk of representing anybody.
Democrats are that party. I can prove it easily. You don't even have to go super far back. FDR really cranked up the pressure to force Americans to say Democracy. What was the name of his party?that aim at seeking control of the American public,
No. It sure as hell is not.Our government is a democratic (representative) republic.
thank you for an excellent read on thingsRobert W. suffers from Dunning-Kruger syndrome.
The idiot doesn’t realize there are different types of Republics.
For instance, you have the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea.
Only a fool, of Robert W. thinks that the US and North Korea are the same type of Republic.
The US is a Republic with a representative democracy. Not a full democracy, a representative democracy.
Robert W. should take his head from his backside and come up for breath.
Check into this site for liberty and learning. It might seem a waste of time, but it is way too valuable to just shuffle off.
I have commented on the purpose of our Government. No it is not a democracy. Were it one, we all would be besieged with notices to vote. And I mean on every action by government. This is why the founders named it a Republic. A Republic has representatives to do all of your voting. All you can do is vote for all of them, including the president. Democrats call it a democracy to fool you. When you hear our press call us a democracy, they mean to a person only Democrats.
See my post 50.This nation is a Republic.
Let me try this to help you.

Nah. He’s more like the last of the few great Constitutional scholars.Mark Levin is the Jethro Bodine of constitutional lawyers.
Many countries don’t even have a constitution.Question - Why is the US the only country where its citizens check its constitution on a daily basis, yet the rest of the planet can get by without checking theirs?
I will talk your own language idiot. I definitely know there are different types of republic.Robert W. suffers from Dunning-Kruger syndrome.
The idiot doesn’t realize there are different types of Republics.
In 1923, the words, "the Flag of the United States of America" were added. At this time it read:"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Bellamy's daughter objected to this alteration. Today it reads:"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Section 4 of the Flag Code states:"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
The original Bellamy salute, first described in 1892 by Francis Bellamy, who authored the original Pledge, began with a military salute, and after reciting the words "to the flag," the arm was extended toward the flag. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."
So, I ask again what kind of Republic are we?I will talk your own language idiot. I definitely know there are different types of republic.
Why does our pledge of allegiance say the word Republic in it. When did it originate? Why do you equate it to a dictatorship?
The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth's Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country.
In its original form it read:
In 1923, the words, "the Flag of the United States of America" were added. At this time it read:
In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Bellamy's daughter objected to this alteration. Today it reads:
