Naw, the problem is you finally got what you wanted (getting rid of Roe) and people kept having abortions.

Imagine that.

Even ******* Kansas and Ohio have voted to enshrine Roe protections.
That should provide a lesson about the nature of the USA. States actually are mini countries inside the larger country. Each state has a capitol. Each has state congresses. Each has a person called a governor. Each has state courts.
Each use the electoral college. No state uses what you call Roe laws.

I agree, Roe was a bad decision. This should have played out in the state legislatures.

The problem with pro-life nutters like Ugly Baby Guy is that they don't get that prohibiting a behavior never really works if there isn't universal agreement that it's wrong. This is why Prohibition didn't work.

If you are seriously about reducing the number of abortions, change the culture, not the law.
There IS a universal agreement that it's wrong, moron. But that's among human beings. :itsok:

Gemini? How long after conception does an unborn child begin feeling pain?
Please stop building flimsy strawmen and address the topic... abortion.
Such are lies of propaganda , as post 13 weeks women are not seeking without cause abortions , and abortion anti-choice scatter in hysteria to fathom meaning of with cause abortion .

Assuming ultrasound is available at 13 weeks , or amniocentesis at 15 - 20 weeks , developmental anomalies in the fetus are included in with cause abortions .

So, you don't see what's coming down the pike. Good.

There is no problem. States' rights will settle this pro-death strategy and the trending is clear. Pro-life is winning.

If you are seriously about reducing the number of abortions, change the culture, not the law.

The law is upstream of the culture.

That's what leftists never figure out and why they always end up with the people hating them.

Oh, it's getting good.

Awesome. Most abortions happen at the eighth week.

Gemini? How long after conception does an unborn child begin feeling pain?

If you want to draw "pain-capable" as a line, you'd be drawing it at 20 weeks, not 15.

Please stop building flimsy strawmen and address the topic... abortion.
I have.

Fetuses aren't legally recognized as people.

If you don't like that, change the law, but think about all the implications if you give a glob of tissue more rights than the woman it is inside.

63% of the population isn't human?

While public support for legal abortion has fluctuated somewhat in two decades of polling, it has remained relatively stable over the past several years. Currently, 63% say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, while 36% say it should be illegal in all or most cases.

Cool. I said I'm willing to compromise. Let's make the cut off for abortions 12 weeks.

By induction from a primordial ego , an instantiation of any ego includes a motivation that its introspection should exist in perpetuity .

Consider a macrocosm of universality , where each instantiation of ego is a manifestation of a magnanimous primordial ego .

A subjective altruism from a magnanimous primordial ego would be that its introspection should exist in perpetuity , however empirical evidence from nature relates that not every instance of an ego is required for introspection of ego to exist in perpetuity .

Any rite which can be alienated can not be inalienable .

The properties of an irrational number can be related with perpetuity through qualities of infinitude .

Um, okay. Now, how do you enforce it?

I promise you, every OB/GYN will just declare every fetus they aborted was at 11 weeks or less.

This is why SCOTUS passed Roe in 1973. They knew the laws were unworkable and not being followed, but the legislatures simply didn't have the political courage to take them off the books.

A us state does not have the power to abrogate an enumerated rite for equal protection within us 14th amendment , and a live birth requirement is a non incidental requirement to become a citizen of us federate and a citizen of a us state by residence , whereby states are prohibited from providing rites of protection to any which has not met a live birth requirement to be recognized as a person according to legitimate interests of us federate or any us state .

The roe v wade ruled that in second trimester states could regulate abortion to ensure that the procedures were safe .

The diagnosis of second trimester developmental anomalies in fetus are available through ultrasound at 13 weeks , through amniocentesis at 15 - 20 , through microvilli at 13 weeks , assuming services are available , with miscarriage risks for the latter .

The roe v wade ruled that in third trimester states could proscribe abortion , as an ability of a fetus to survive an imminent live birth - at natural viability was substituted in lieu of a live birth requirement for legitimate interests of a federate or state to provide equal protection with a citizen .

The roe v wade ruled that first trimester abortions were between doctor and patient and did not represent a significant public safety risk , even as d&c was more frequent then modern medical abortion .

To establish independence of the individual through equal protection of negative liberties , as per us 9th amendment , and to institute legitimate interests of a state for ensuring public safety and security , there is not a constitutional reason for states not to have roe v wade laws .

Seems like it must be super easy from all the stories the left finds of hospitals that refuse to do abortions due to state laws.
