"Hate" is irrational and emotional, and there's no shortage of it from either end of the spectrum. Obviously.
It's also a word that is used far too often, over something as simple as disagreeing with someone. "You hate my guy" is nothing more than an attempt to portray your guy as a victim.
There are many perfectly rational reasons to disagree with any given political figure, especially one who both welcomes and creates controversy, and to pretend you can't see a perfectly rational reason is either ignorant, intellectually dishonest, or both. And boring as hell.
