I had some unpleasant conversations with pro-abortion advocates on another board, so I'm trying to be a little more open-minded on the issue. Still, the reality is that as long as you have disagreements on when life begins, laws against abortion are going to be meaningless.

I don't think that there is a disagreement on when and how a human life begins that you are expecting me to appreciate. I'm convinced that pro-aborts know fully well that an abortion kills a child.

They just don't care.

So, their denials have to be defeated.

Here's the thing. Usually, when some poor fool is charged with killing a fetus, it's usually a fetus that is fairly well along. no one gets charged with fetal homicide for the first trimester.

The reality is, you can argue that killing a fetus after viability is murder. Except that is almost never done surgically unless something has gone horribly wrong with the pregnancy.

Nobody sane thinks an 8 week fetus the size of a kidney bean should legally be treated the same as a child.

This is why abortion laws were rarely enforced before Roe. Women went into their doctor's office, he aborted the first trimester fetus, wrote something else on the chart, and moved on.

The only way laws like yours would work is in a police state. Maybe not even then. Romania tried this shit in the 1970's, and it worked for about one year.
