Most of the people in the Union Army were Honkies- that's just a fact regardless of whether you deny it or not.

Granted, there were some blacks in the union army, but they were strictly a minority. Many of the black guys in the 1860's hid in their plantations to avoid the draft.

Why did republicans create the Corwin Amendment?

It was a last-ditch effort to save the Union and save hundreds of thousands of lives. Slavery was dying anyway; the South had exhausted its soil and the new Northern control of congress prevented the spread of slavery into new states and territories. Partial solutions that buy time for social change is always better than war.

Blacks, slaves or free, were not subject to the draft in either the Confederacy or the Union.

Truth can't be revised. Learn that. Then start posting truth. If Jim Crow was democrat why did it last 70 years with republicans and democrats in power?

Sex. Look at the various writings of racists in virtually every location and time and you'll find sexual reasons for them wanting to separate the races. Mainly white males afraid that men of color (blacks, Indians, whatever) would take white women.

Blacks fought, but not the blacks we see here posting. Any blacks that did fight fought after being trained and ordered by whites.

The north would win the war with or without the service of black men. It really was not even close.
