This is why there won't be peace

Yes, Western political fiats have fueled the hate towards America...Our needs for an energy supply overshadowed our common sense, to just buy the Oil at the cost of supporting King/Dictators at the cost of feeding their people. Islam, just sees Israel of an extension of Western Power Politics for stealing oil, their people's wealth...

Israel is seen as a Western Lackey to keep them in line.

What Israel must do is to accept a Palestinian State and help that state succeed by using common sense by creating jobs...She must become part of the Fabric of the ME, she should understand that American non-reliance on oil with the new technology of franking
will pull back on its support for its client state. Europe is still dependent but making deals with the Russians...

I see it today, with Obama and the world as witness by the approval of non-member statehood in the UN membership to the 67 borders...

Yes Israel will ignore the International norms which gave her birth...She is the least like nation behind N. Korea and Iran in world polls...

We're all sick of the ME and its wars...Boycotts of Israel are gaining steam..."The writing is on the wall!"

History marches on, Israel, or no Israel...its their choice if they can read between the lines.

So help us understand that Islamic terrorism is actually our fault. Great. Got it. I guess the only downside to that admission is that we're left to build new excuses why Islamic societies are continually dysfunctional even without the US supporting islamist dictators.

So we're back to asking you to help us understand how anyone convinces Hamas to abandon it's Islamic ideology.
I've said it once I'll say it again. Ignore Hamas in the Peace deal and let Israel bomb their valuable infrastructures while warning well in advance the targets to let civilians leave the area like Clinton did in Serbia.

Israel has the Human Right to defend itself from violence.

After the Peace, give Fatah the military means to subdue Gaza and hold free elections in a reasonable time.

That time should be used to normalize Gaza with financial incentives.

Ignoring the islamist terrorist organization that was put into office by those who voted for islamist terrorists puts your proposal in serious question. Secondly, It begs the question: how committed are the “Palestinian” arabs to peaceful coexistence when… wait for it…. here it comes… they voted for an islamist terrorist syndicate to govern their mini-caliphate.

I suspect what you’re not accounting for is that Wahabbism/Salafism is a natural outgrowth of the strict conservatism of Islamic legal thought / attitudes and its progressive estrangement from the modern world.

More broadly, Why is Israel, or any external entity responsible for cleaning up the trash which is Hamas? I’m trying to forge a timeline wherein the Pal-arabs agree to allow Israel unimpeded access to bomb Hamas targets. You don’t seem well thought out on this.

Consequently, we need to come to grips with if (not necessarily when), the Pal –arabs are evcer going to be able to negotiate a settlement to the issue of borders. In addition, I think you need to come to grips with acknowledging that the Pal/arabs have shown no inclination for true democratic institutions that are separated from and not subordinate to theocratic (sharia) principles.

Ultimately, Sharia worshippers reject fundamental premises of constitutional governance and democratic republics: the fundamental proposition that the governed have a right to make law for themselves irrespective of any theocratic code; the republican democracy guaranteed by a Constitution; freedom of conscience; individual liberty (including in matters of personal privacy and sexual preference); freedom of expression (including the liberty to analyze and criticize theocratic codes and practices); economic liberty (including private property); equality (including equality of men and women and of Muslims and non-Muslims); freedom from cruel and unusual punishments; an unequivocal condemnation of terrorism (one that does not rationalize barbarity as legitimate “resistance”); and an abiding commitment to deflate and resolve political controversies by the ordinary mechanisms of federalism and democracy, not at the business end of an AK-47.

Be honest – did you ever really expect that Pal-arabs would allow Israel to bomb out of existence the government they voted for?

Not at all. I'm making observations, critiquing your comments and suggesting plausible scenarios as to how events will play out.

Hamas is clearly bent on an all-out war against Israel, whether or not it's openly declared. That's the only course consistent with its Islamist foundation. Hamas is a transliteration of the Arabic acronym for its full name: “Kill the Joooooos”. Given the Islamist attitude toward "the Zionist entity," one could expect nothing else from this cancer on the Middle East.

Don’t you recall the hailing regarding the ouster on the dictator of Tunisia, the replacement of Mubarak in Egypt, the “new” Libya, etc., etc., as openings for democracy in the Middle East. Somehow, It didn’t work out. The most prominet beneficiary of these regime changes has been the Islamist movements. I have never seen where the reports of Egypt’s “secular” youth have originated. If anything, opinion polls across the Middle East have indicated that Moslem youth are even more committed to traditional Islam than their parents. There is a good reason the profile for Islamic terrorists is “middle class moslem male between the ages of 25 and 40.”

Yet, here you are suggesting that Israel will be welcomed to bomb the bejeezus out of Hamas by the very people which put Hamas into power.

PA School Named To Inspire New Female Terrorists

PA TV broadcasts interviews from official PA girls' high school named after female terrorist, girls remark she was 'role model we follow.'

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has long been employing extreme incitement against Israel and Jews; one of its most effective methods to indoctrinate the next generation is to start young. A new PA girls' high school named after a female terrorist ensures the legacy of terror will continue unbroken.

A broadcast on official PA TV last December interviewed young female students at the school that was recently named after Shadia Abu Ghazaleh, a terrorist active in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). She died in 1968 when a bomb she was preparing for an attack in Tel Aviv accidentally detonated on her.

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) translated the response of the students when asked what they knew about Ghazaleh. According to the girls, the terrorist was "a patriotic woman," and "a model of the patriotic woman who stood with the men against Zion." A sign on the school wall declares that it is an official PA school.

PMW notes that many PA schools have been named after terrorists, including at least 2 high schools and a kindergarten named after the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, who led a bus hijacking in 1978 in which 37 Israelis were murdered, 12 of them children.

In the same broadcast about the new school, PA TV interviewed a member of the terror group PFLP's political bureau, Mariam Abu Daqqa. "With her blood she delineated a path for all of Palestine's women, (according to which) later tales of bravery were written," claimed Daqqa, mentioning Mughrabi as an example of those following Ghazaleh's footsteps.

The same PA TV special showed a portrait of the terrorist Ghazaleh which adorns the girls' high school's wall. An inscription there states Ghazaleh's "political activity began at a young age. ...She participated in the operation (terror attack) that blew up a bus. ...She was at home preparing a bomb in order to detonate it in an Israeli building in Tel Aviv, but it exploded in her hands and she died a martyr."

Make it a valid military target as it incites terrorism and when the children have left on a night flatten it. Then tell the P.A that any structure named after terrorists will suffer the same fate, as detailed in International Law

So who "deserves" your tax dollars? Egypt, Pakistan? Libya? who?

That obviously is out of my realm and above my pay grade.

What I posit here is that Israel is perfectly capable of taking care of itself without US foreign aid. In any way, shape, or form.

Why is Israel so timid about cutting the financial umbilical with the U.S.?

Israel is our partner in the ME. We want them armed with American tech and weapons. We give them funds and they give the funds back to us with the purchase of weapon systems made here in the USA.

Can you believe this croc-a dui...Our partner who steals land against our wishes, attacked our ship Liberty, spied on us Pollack, dragged us into wars against Muslims, Enslaved our Government AIPAC, Insult our President and Sec. of State...

Yea, our partners who are bringing our country down with treachery.

Campaign Finance Laws to regain our freedom.

Leave it to pissy ballsless to 'thank' a post by some POS who claims my neighbors were maimed by someone other than the two POS caught on numerous tapes, etc, etc, perpetrating the attack.

An example of 'treason' is one who is as eager as PB to rip away the civil rights of fellow citizens on NO Constitutional 'justification'. No wonder he refuses to acknowledge the ethnic cleansing perpetrated by the Arab League nations throughout the ME: he has advocated for EXACTLY the same crimes against humanity on this site.

And you have no concrete evidence for 75% of what you allege, but still repeat it hoping that the mud will stick

I honestly don't care if there is war or peace over there. That region of the world will continue to suck untold billions from American taxpayers no matter what. Israel has the means to pay their own way in this world.

Maybe if you'd have said no more foreign aid... Ok but you focused on only Israel so what does that say about you?

It may or may not happen during this generation, but that situation will eventually become a global conflict. IMHO.

Truths via the Internet are destroying Israeli fallacies of victimhood as the information highways proves Israel's immoral nature of the slow expulsion of Palestinians goes on.

The world is on to her.

Do you think someone can be in disfavor of the Israeli government and NOT be anti-sematic? I was fortunate enough to have visited throughout much of the country and met kind people on both sides. That seems to make the situation all the more unfortunate.

It says that I am aware of Israel's flush Treasury and their immense wealth of newly-discovered natural gas deposits.

i was referring to the Jew haters on the board actually. The government of Israel? one can disagree with sure, but to wish for the destruction of Israel is anther matter entirely isn't it.

You are out of touch as it has been global for some years now. And it all stems from the muslims need to attack children to force a solution. We had the Berlin Olympics when palastinian terrorists murdered unarmed civilians, we had the WTC when Islamic terrorists murdered unarmed civilians in the name of Palestine . Then the London Transport bombings again citing the Palestinians plight as one reason. And the toll goes on making it a Global Conflict courtesy of the Hostile Arab terrorists

As I said you have no proof for 75% OF YOUR RACIST ALLEGATIONS they are based on Islamic sources that are straight out of the muslim school for blood libels. But don't let the truth and reality get in the way of your NAZI fantasies now will you.

There is a world of difference between being in disfavour of the Israeli government and telling islamonazi lies. By all means state a grievance of the government of Israel, but don't use an islamonazi source as your only evidence.
A good one was the licence plates issued to cars in Israel some years back, the muslims found that showing a preference for one that upholds their muslim origins meant it was a different colour to the standard one. So the Lie spread that Israel was being racist and apartheid by giving muslims a green or blue one. All a pack of lies of course but the loons in the west believed the story without checking up on the facts. The poster pbel is one of these loons that does not check first to see if the story is true, he just rides with the islamonazi versions.

This incitement doesn't stop. It is ongoing, continuously.

Fatah Facebook Page Tells Parents to Raise Children for Terror

'Teach them that we live in misery. Teach them that there is a seed in the soil; if you water it with blood, it will sprout a revolution.'

Fatah, the ruling political party of the Palestinian Authority (PA), continues to incite violence against Israel on its Facebook page.

According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), a prominent post reads, "Teach your children to love the soil. Teach them that we live in misery. Teach them that there is a seed in the soil; if you water it with blood, it will sprout a revolution."

The statement is accompanied by an armed and uniformed man standing over a large crowd with a rifle, under the Palestinian Arab flag.

Fatah's Facebook page has been a hotspot for incitement. Last week, the page praised a mass murdering terrorist, in a post celebrating the anniversary of terrorist Ali Ja'ara's Jerusalem bus suicide bombing attack that killed 11 in 2004. Ja'ara was honored on PA TV in 2012 when his body was handed over by Israel in a "goodwill gesture."

The post called Ja'ara a "quiet hero" who "succeeded in breaking the Zionists' security barriers and breaching their fortresses."

The group also praised several other terrorists, including Wafa Idris, the first female suicide bomber who killed 1 and injured over 100 in downtown Jerusalem in 2002, calling her "a Palestinian who knows the way." Idris was able to get through Israeli security in a PA ambulance as a volunteer for the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Idris is "the sun of Palestine and its shining beacon" according the party of Israel's "peace partner" Abbas. Her terror attack was lauded by Fatah as "heroic" and "an object of pride, honor and admiration." The murderer was praised as being "sharp as a sword and strong as an oak tree."

Another post featured a photo of the terrorist Mohammed Mubarak, who earlier this month opened fire on an IDF post near the Samaria community of Ateret, close to Ramallah.

Mubarak was eliminated by the IDF soldiers who returned fire, but not eliminated from the Fatah page where he was praised as a "heroic martyr." A picture of Mubarak superimposed on that of former PA Chairman Yasser Arafat features the text "on couches, facing one another, with Allah on a magnificent throne," a paraphrase of verses from Quran Sura 56 describing Heaven.

PA incitement against Israel continues to escalate, prompting intense efforts to assess the scope of the incitement and bring it to international attention. Last month, Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz presented a detailed report on the incitement.

Findings included an analysis of how statements against Jews and Israel are being distributed and what is being said; a clear link was shown between the incitement and ongoing peace talks.

"We must not ignore the fact that the Palestinian educational system and media, under the patronage of Abbas and during the negotiations, are educating and inciting – on a daily basis – for the destruction of the State of Israel," Steinitz stated at the time.
