How will the USMNT do in the World Cup

We are now almost on the eve of the 2026 World Cup. The USMNT has played its last warmup matches, beating Senegal 3-2,while losing to Germany 2-1.

The American squad is part of Group D, with Paraguay, Australia and Turikye on the 12th, q19th and 25th of June, respectively.

What do we think folks? Is this the year the United States breaks through and becomes a world powerhouse or does the USMNT embarrass every American futbol fan again as they have so many times before?

Honestly I’m of two minds on this topic…

I voted Round of 16 - Eliminated, but I could see this team going 0-1-2 and not even making it out of the qualifying round with two draws and a loss.

There is zero consistency anywhere in the USMNT program and really never has been. The potential talent is there but I don’t believe it’s been properly utilized by a series of managers and sporting directors who have never actually had a plan.
