Teh Republican Party is closer to JFK than anything conservative in the 1950's. The Democratic Party went from Democrats to Liberal, to Progressives which it is now and moving towards Communism. We are all stuck in what you ack as a political movement. We have a huge government totaled with federal, state, local and city governments combined. A good portion aligned with social programs and social justice. And yet we end up having what you guys have become. Miserable leeches, who see flaws everywhere and it has to be the fault of the other side. When it comes to illegitimate children and single women on the dole, sterilize the women and the fathers.
