This is a thread for those on the LEFT to unequivocally condemn those celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

With no "both-sides-ism", no "what about-isms", no asides or footnotes.

Just a place to condemn the assassination of Charlie Kirk and anyone celebrating his murder.

THOSE ON THE LEFT ONLY PLEASE.

Why? Because it will have meaning coming from those that share an ideology... that people they perhaps respect are condemning their actions.

Nope, only giving you an opportunity. You are not required to take it.
I neither condone nor applaud their motives because their reactions are theirs and what they favor...I am merely a witness to history.

That would be a reading comprehension error on your part.
The answer to my question is "no" by refusing to answer I can tell your answer likely isn't "no", else you'd have simply answered "no".
You should read my response again, more carefully this time.
I read it fine, it wasn't "no" - you refuse to condemn any and all murder.

I wasn't sure, now I am.

The answer to my question is "no".
We're far enough into the thread I suppose a little off topic isn't going to kill us... and it keeps the thread at the top of the forum.

Is it always no? In all circumstances? 100% of the time?

This is really not very sporting of you, you refuse to answer my question but expect me to now answer yours.

I'm not asking you a question.

I'm locking you into your initial statement.

Here it is...

Well, are there any murders that are acceptable? people should celebrate? not condemn?

I would have thought a simple "no" would suffice.

See? you cannot do the very thing you are asking others to do.

Don't want you shifting the goalpost later.

Are you already trying to wiggle out of your own premise???

You just asked "Is it always no? In all circumstances? 100% of the time?"
That's a question.

Yes, that was my question, asked first - as yet unanswered, only evaded.
Don't want you shifting the goalpost later.

Call me conservative, but I think questions should be answered in the order they are asked.

I'm done with the thread, Kirk of course should not have been brutally murdered, destroying the lives of his wife and children and that crime must be condemned no more and no less than any other cruel taking of a person's God given life.

Kirk should instead have been publicly humiliated in a professionally refereed debate with an educated and prepared opponent for making statements like being worried if a black airline pilot has a pilots license and pretending that is not an incendiary deeply offensive thing to say - particularly in the United States.

Alas I'll now never see that humiliation and Charlie won't have the opportunity to endure it and emerge a better person for the experience.

P.S. - 111 posts in

candycorn with a three word agreement, but the response with the least equivocation so far. Short but sweet.

And JoeB131 who had to toss in a slight equivocation, but a very good reply none the less.

Thank you. Well said. That's three. In 117 replies.

So, nobody so far.

I took the Left lane of the Turnpike once. Do I count?

Truth is that America was founded on protected free speech. In fact, it is the FIRST amendment to the Bill of Rights.

So how can anyone defend KILLING someone /VIOLENTLY/ simply over what a person's views were? What could be more unAmerican than killing someone just for their views?

PROBLEM IS, besides not being able to, all of the reasons given, and excuses, based on things Kirk said and did, none of them are even true.

Even if you COULD justify killing someone for their harmless views, turns out that none of them even applied to Kirk.

All of the terrible things lefties held against him were all just made up by idiot leftwing media and politicians.

Here lies Charlie Kirk - Friend of Mankind 1993 - 2025
Death By Misinformation.

I’m a traditional democrat… always have that’s why I’ve always praised FDR , Andrew Jackson, John F. Kennedy. I voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and changed to Trump in 2020 because of how far left the leading Democrats went. I still consider myself a Democrat though.

Kirk’s assassination was an act of evil. Anybody who cannot condemn it is a fraud of the highest order… they are going against the values of the great democrats of American history.

Kirk was also not racist. The far left has tried to change the definition of racism. Kirk employed Black people, he associated with Jews, blacks, Indians, people of different backgrounds …I saw Kirk once argue that Pakistani immigrants who wait in line for legal immigration are getting screwed over by people who come to the USA illegally ….

How dare any lefty call Kirk a racist… disagree with the guy all you want but calling someone a racist with no evidence is why you folks lost in 2024…
produce evidence of Kirk having a poster of Adolf Hitler in his room. Or a KKK poster. Or show evidence of him saying blacks are inferior to whites. They can’t because it doesn’t exist….

Across social media numerous lefties have openly celebrated the death of Kirk right on camera.

Yet some lefties say

ā€œwho has celebrated the death of Kirk?ā€

ā€œKirk was racistā€

ā€œKirk brought it upon himselfā€

All the far left has is lies, trolling arguing in bad faith and evil
