John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants has been released from the hospital after breaking 7 ribs in a car crash. The accident happened last week after the band’s ‘Flood’ 30th anniversary show in NYC, when an alleged drunk driver T-boned his car upon blowing a red light. “I guess not all hospital stays have to end, but mine does today,” Flansburgh wrote on Instagram today. “These five days have been very long, but I am on the road to recovery now. I look forward to retiring this hospital gown and delighting you all with more cat photos from the bed where I will be for these upcoming weeks.”
