There are safe ways to apply Restorative Justice methods even to serial killers stalkers rapists and pedophiles. To get th e families to come forward and report dangerous p, it would help to set up safe programs where they can get help for their sickness without putting anyone at risk.

Why not set up maximum secirity military prisons on the border, and run the rehab and restitution work programs there for high risk repeat offenders who can't be released into society. Since those are prison grounds, anyone caught running around outside can be shot to death. So building faculities like this at hotspots along The Border Would encourage ppl to enter at checkpoints instead of risking getting shot to death.

Emily...they destroy lives. I had a gay cousin...he died of AIDS. And he was not born that way...he chose it. He dated women for years, he was a very handsome guy. The ladies loved him. I'm all for research proving homos are all pedophiles and all pedophilic. And they are...sexualizing prepubescent children by setting up classes in public schools to tell them to 'explore their sexuality' is indeed pedophilic. So therefore, these deviants don't have to touch kids physically, just corrupt their minds.

Even if they are detained for life from society they can still be healed enough to work jobs and pay restituiton.
Why not have priest abusers serve their time in prison supervising fellow offenders so they can go through therapy rehab and work for restitution together? Why not require drug and human traffickers to pay restitution to victims by taking over sweatshop jobs and allow women and children to go to school instead?

There are safe ways to apply Restorative Justice methods even to serial killers stalkers rapists and pedophiles. To get th e families to come forward and report dangerous p, it would help to set up safe programs where they can get help for their sickness without putting anyone at risk.

It can be done. Why not set up maximum secirity military prisons on the border, and run the rehab and restitution work programs there for high risk repeat offenders who can't be released into society. The priests serving time for sex abuse can supervise and minister to the men as they all go through recovery. The military bases can guard the outside and double as border security at the same time. Since those are prison grounds, anyone caught running around outside can be shot to death. So building faculities like this at hotspots along The Border Would encourage ppl to enter at checkpoints instead of risking getting shot to death.

Emily...they destroy lives. I had a gay cousin...he died of AIDS. And he was not born that way...he chose it. He dated women for years, he was a very handsome guy. The ladies loved him. When he was diagnosed with HIV, he told everyone as we are a very tight knit family, aunts and uncles are like another set of parents for us...I asked him why he would do such a thing? Why when you could have any woman you wanted...did you choose to sleep with men? He said because men were more of a challenge than women for him and men can't get pregnant. He was a sex addict. They all are.

I loved my cousin, he was my blood. And I can sit here and tell you while I loved him, he deserved what he got.

Hi OffensivelyOpenMinded I am very sorry to hear about your cousin, but if we can work toward prevention and correction using our combined knowledge and experience, the gains will be greater than the pains.

I have a friend In Houston who saved two of my friends, both haters of rightwing Christian bigots, from destructive abusive sex relations tied to addictions they tried to cover up with alcohol etc. These are mild cases compared with pedophiles that have the strongest relapse rates and lowest cures. But it can be done in some cases, and the earlier the intervention the better chance of stopping damage.

The only unforgivable sin is unforgiveness be cause it blocks God's will and healing process from entering in. All other sins can be forgiven and healed to the degree physically possible. Some cases of cancer also go too far and become terminal. The key is catching it early.

The families who got help for a pedophile or milder form of sex addict/abuser to heal, started by the family member praying and asking for help. Then eventually the process opens up the actual sick person to comply and agree to get help. If you read Scott pecks book Glimpses of the Devil, it was the family who sought help first, and then the priest can start intervention

We have to start somewhere. My friend Olivia helped two friends who finally agreed to try the forgiveness therapy after I recommended it. They quit their self destructive abuse and changed to working with doctors and with supportive friends and healthier relations instead of fighting against changing and staying stuck .

So the first step is forgiving and allowing change to take place. After that, the process timing and degree of healing varies for each person's path.

I would love to work with you on positive outreach education and research to help stop all causes of abuse and addiction in all forms.

Once the cycle breaks, ppl will not go back to that again. So we can win , the positives exert more sustainable influence than the negatives which will become a thing of the past. Nobody wants to suffer, but we just don't know where to start or turn for help. So by setting up programs that encourage ppl to get help, bingo, no more hiding or running away in denial. We can do this! Let's go for it! Who knows , maybe Neil Warren calling for 10 milion in research or the Gates Foundation may support outreach to report and heal sex abuse and addiction to end rape, pedophile predatory sickness, and trafficking.

Given the number of LGBT runaways abused by trafficking, we may have allies from all sides uniting in supporting prevention of abuse by curing the root cause of sickness.

As long as we remove the blocks caused by unforgiveness, God's healing energy and process can enter in and heal as much as possible. forgiveness is the key first step to open up that process. Let's go for it, and see how far we can take this, shall we?

I know that the same programs and methods that can heal victims of abuse, rape, even longterm trafficking can heal just about anyone from anything. As long as we agree on getting help to heal from abuses, that's good enough to focus on solutions.

In fact these healing methods work on such deep levels, they can either
* cure some pedophile addictions where possible at all, even it takes long periods of time (though it doesn't mean to release them into society ) the sooner the intervention the better chance of preventing more victims
* heal them partially so at the very leasy they seek help and supervision and comply with detention so they don't risk harm to anyone (similar to alcoholic addicts who are disciplined enough to stay away from bars or alcohol with the understanding they aren't cured of their addiction and know the danger signs of relapse to get help when those hit)

Syriusly is consistent about supporting help for victims of abuse, so you are misdirecting your criticism by thinking she doesn't care about such victims or would Enable abusers? No, because the same therapy that helps break the cycle of abuse against victims also helps free abusers of their side of the sickness. It doesn't enable either side, but cures the root cause .

Nobody ever cured leprosy by killing off people as a curse or Scourge On society. Curing the victims of the abuse also will lead to curing the offenders, or at least keeping them detained for life, by making it safe for people to report sickness and get help instead of running abd hiding until its too late.

She supports the kind of activity that promotes it, so therefore her supposed sympathy for victims is canceled out.

All it takes is one tiny flicker of light, and the larger darkness filling up a cave is conquered.

All it takes is the righteous prayers of one person, and sometimes the whole village can be saved.

The right answer and focus trumps all the other myriad of problems and wrong answers out there. Let's not focus on the stumbling blocks, let's find the right steps on the right path in the right direction and promote that!
