Ban the LGBT Rainbow Flag

It's not a Pride rainbow. What part do you not get? Are you terminally stupid?
Maybe you are that, The rainbow f the 42nd Infantry Div is not pride rainbow, Correct. So ?
The rainbow of the LGBTs IS a pride rainbow, or at least that's what they call it (to cover up the SHAME they really feel)

So s long as they use it to identify with, it is insulting to those of us who serve or served in the 42nd Infantry Div. Get it ?

The **** it isn't! That's the definition of authoritarian. besides, the Dems would never let it pass and most Republicans don't give a shit!
It isn't, but keep babbling if you must.

The rainbow flag, or symbol in general, as connected with LGBT, is a violation of obscentity law, as defined by the 1973 Supreme Court case Miller v. California, and should be treated as.
Another example of unlawful things that have gone unenforced, when they should have been.
The LGBT "Pride" flag doesn't not meet the Miller test.

No, because they are not in any way similar. Get it?

No. They are not similar. You are a moron to think they are.
Only a moron would say that an LGBT pride rainbow symbol has no similarity to the Army 42nd Infantry Div rainbow symbol.

They of course are very similar in appearance. That's what I'm talking about. Duh!

Just accept the fact that you are a moron and have no way to ban the gay pride flag. Stop being an idiot.

When asked what does a flag showing a rainbow represent, most people would say LGBT. In past years however, during and after World War 1, World War 2, the Global War on Terrorism (Iraq), and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, some Americans knew the rainbow flag as representing the US Army 42nd Infantry Division (which I served in myself from 1964-1969,
as a Combat Construction Specialist MOS 12B20.)

With thousands of soldiers having done military service wearing the rainbow patch on their uniforms, thousands having died in the process, and all having marched under the 42 Infantry's rainbow flag, it is quite an insult to see this prestigious emblem being displayed to represent sex perversion and mental illness. That activity should be outlawed, stopped, and the rainbow emblem be restored to its original, proper symbol of Army service/sacrifice/courage.

I am 100% pro-US, its Constitution, Bill of Rights and our nation's flag. That said, as long as the flag isn't one that clearly supports terrorists (i.e., the ISIS flag), the LGBTQ alphabet flag falls under the freedom of speech. However, it along with other non-US flags should not be flow on government property (exception: POW/MIA flag). They should be restricted to one's personal property/estate, or at a business they own. Personally, I just don't go into and support businesses that fly LGBTQ or Palestinian flags.

Just like the word "gay" that used to mean happy, certain words and symbols in the English language were hijacked by perverts for their own use.
Just look how they hijacked this:

Most of you guys from the US are more familiar than i am about Army divisional emblems so i looked the rainbow division up, the flag is a totally different shape than the gay flag, having said that i never understood the gay pride thing, what are they proud of the way they were born which they had no choice about? same with the in your face parades and trans mania fixation, people should just get on with living their lives no matter who they are, it's got to the stage where so called gay pride day in the UK is almost a National holiday.

Continuation of your buffoon display. Ho hum'
Of course there's a way to ban the gay shame flag. Ever hear of the US Constitution ? Of the US Congress ? Of the presidency ? You can contact all of them.

You can hold a sign next to where you see the shame flag.
Enforce obscenity laws. Create new laws.
Go back to sleep.

Obscenity isn't protected by freedom of speech. The shame flag doesn't pass the 3 tenets of the Miller Test

  • (1) whether the average person applying contemporary community standards would find the work, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest;
  • (2) whether the work depicts or describes, in a patently offensive way, sexual conduct specifically defined by the applicable state law; and
  • (3) whether the work, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value.
Recent Gallup poll (Feb 2025) showed 9.3% of Americans ID as LGBT, and this is the highest % ever recorded. Other polls show much lower %s.

If we go by the Gallup poll, over 90% of Americans are NOT LGBT, making LGBT a far cry from meeting community standards, thus flunking the Miller test, as set by the US Supreme Court, defining obscenity.

How? Free speech is a thing. Not that you would understand any of that!

Did you ever get out of middle school? Were you thrown out when you hit 20-years-old?

Since the Miller Test applies only to obscenity, you have failed yet again.

Birdbrain. In addition to the many things that fail the Miller Test (like LGBT), many other things are obscenity illegal,

And in addition to obscenity being an exception to free speech, there are many other exceptions. Here's a partial list >>> slander, libel, perjury, inciting a riot, copyright infringment, threats, plagiarism, sedition, false advertising, filing a false police report,

So you quit school in the 3rd grade, right ?

Read Post # 94 (including the link)/ No charge for the tutoring, and don't let your ego get in the way of clearing up your idiot problem. We try to keep an intellectually respectable forum here..

It's sad that your brain cannot recognize that exactly none of those apply.

Just FYI, I have a master's degree in education and taught this topic off and on for 21 years.

You just cannot help being wrong.

BTW, where do you think I got the information to dispute your finding? It came from your link. The Miller test applies to obscenity, and usually only restricts that to minors. If it did what you claim it does, why do we still have pornography freely available?

Go back to school if you want to argue this topic, because you are flailing in the wind!
