maybe it's because people are getting sued and fined BY PUBLIC LAWS for
not complying with LGBT beliefs being pushed through govt affecting other people, including in restrooms.

If Christians and Muslims need to keep their beliefs as personal choices while respecting the same of
others, why not enforce the same standards for LGBT beliefs?

Dear rightwinger good point that actually reminds me more of religious abuse:
1. I heard a Baptist Church member say that a teenager down the street showed up on their doorstep with his suitcase in hand, kicked out of the house and disowned for trying to share the Gospel with his Asian Buddhist parents who were so traditional they considered it a dishonor to the family to reject their ancestry and heritage.
With the right cultural counseling it is possible to teach how to reconcile Buddhism with Christianity because the Vietnamese families intermarry all the time. But not in this case where the young man found himself homeless and the neighbors had to help him.
2. I know someone who got so abused by fundamentalist Muslim parents trying to "force him to be Muslim like them out of fear they would go to hell if he wasn't" he tried to kill himself. They even abandoned him as punishment. He ran away and ended up on the streets with a lot of other youth kicked out for LGBT issues. Later after college he became a counselor at a center for homeless youth because of his own experiences recovering from a longterm traumatic abusive situation where he still has bad days now and then, but overall he has worked out a lot of issues with his parents finally accepting that he has Christian faith in addition to keeping his Muslim beliefs that are consistent and not in conflict as too many ppl are teaching. He also identifies as Buddhist. So again with personal counseling it is possible to heal these relations and accept ppl despite differences and even conflicting beliefs.

Trying to force ppl to convert to something they are not, or trying to force ppl to change their beliefs on what is accepted or rejected seems to be very similar in cases of abuse due to religious conflicts. Whether the issue of conflict is LGBT or denominational.

And the common solution is spiritual counseling to heal the relationships, without trying to force either side to change their beliefs. The same solutions that resolve interfaith and intercultural clashes can be applied to help with LGBT conflicts and prevent parents from abusing or abandoning their children for whatever reason they can't reconcile their conflicts. With spiritual healing, they don't have to agree to make peace, they just forgive their differences and agree not to try changing each other. It can be very hard to do, but it saves the relationship.
