There is no life after death

Actually, the two professions were separated during the time of Ambroise Pare, in the 16th Century, when barbers were increasingly forbidden to perform surgical procedures.

The two professions were officially separated in England in 1740 by edict of King George II, thirty-six years before the founding of The United States.
Apparently the American frontier didn't get the news.

Interestingly enough, beginning in Medieval times, physicians did not often participate in the practice of surgery or the even less vague art of dentistry. The professionals who were doing these extractions during the middle ages were not medical authorities, but barbers, not necessarily because they were highly skilled in the practice, but more likely because they already owned the sharp tools, such as razor blades, that were necessary for these procedures.

It was only in the 1800s that dentists, barbers, and surgeons, were separated as professions. For some time, surgery was thought of as a rather low profession among doctors, so people veered away from it as a subject. As knowledge of anatomy and medical procedure became more precise, more patients began surviving more and more elaborate and dramatic surgeries. As fewer barbers were called upon to perform surgery, that aspect of the profession died out. The last barber-surgeon died in the 1820s.

These partially trained hair cutters began using a “Dental Pelican” in the 14th century and then a “Dental Key” to extract teeth from their patients’ mouths. Both of these tools were similar to and the precursor to modern day forceps. These barbers were not full time dentists, but in fact, their work was focused solely on removing any infected teeth for alleviating pain purposes, not preventive care.

If you've ever had an infected tooth, you would understand.

Please do not despair!

Every person has a soul which is connected to his/her brain during the person's life. That soul is eternal.

PS. Sadly, I did not study Medicine like many of my ancestors did. This is one of many reasons I can consider my years wasted.
You did study math and chemistry!!

I could have pictured you as a great doctor !!

I did not exist and we all wont when we die
Quasar, I feel your pain.

I will spare you the details, but I recently lost someone who was 100% vital to my mental well-being.

So I have decided to simply assume that he is still with me in spirit guiding me and helping me with my problems. I even ask him to send me signs that he is with me.

If it helps me get through the day, then making such assumptions can be considered helpful.

Best wishes to you.

Its scary as hell but it does not exist

Do you ever wonder what you were thinking during the French Revolution or the Roman empire. I have .,,.. and its zero

I did not exist and we all wont when we die
Yes thier is

If primitive people wrote it in a book 1500 years ago it has to be true.

They aren't obligated to prove a negative. The onus is on you

The "primitive" statement makes me smile. We have better technology, which means we can entertain ourselves and get information quickly, but if we want to end the species, we could do it in a single day. Advamcement?

The Bible depicts us exactly as we are, then and now.

Despite all my vast flaws ..I still follow both common sense and science

You have to choose one these days. Either common sense, or what they call "science"

Pfizer just admitted those vaccines they pushed on everyone to "protect grandma" never stopped transmission--AND THEY KNEW IT.

There's your science.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I agree.

When you're dead, you're dead; lights out, game over.

Evolution is as factual as any basic Newton laws
One thing all atheists must have in common is they believe if they trace their family tree back far enough their earliest grandparents were like mice or bedbugs or, even earlier, a bowl of primordial soup. Then a totally mindless, thoughtless “force” or inertia somehow, some way, created DNA molecules, and living cells with a thousand machines inside of them working harmoniously together, then started producing living organisms that somehow learned to consume nutrition and replicate themselves. Then this mindless blob of chance kept on doing more and more incredible things with nary ever a mistake. Soon we have living breathing animals that now have nervous systems, reproductive organs, eyes, ears, on and on and on. But to these atheists, no evidence of design and genius, so no reason for an intelligent designer.

Evolutionist high priest Richard Dawkins says in his book - - - "Natural selection is the blind watchmaker, blind because it does not see ahead, does not plan consequences, has no purpose in view. Yet the living results of natural selection overwhelmingly impress us with the appearance of design as if by a master watchmaker, impress us with the illusion of design and planning.”

“the illusion of design and planning.” --- right. That’s not science, Richard… that’s agenda.
