Gog and the hordes of Magog are figurative speak and generally accepted to be the armies organized and marshalled by Satan and his hordes.

The entire prophecy of Ezekiel that deals with that confrontation is obviously speaking about a future event in terms of ancient Mediterranean lingo....That of course would be only natural since that's the language it was originally written in.
