‘There are a lot of bitter people here, I’m one of them’: rust belt voters on why they backed Trump again despite his broken promises

So the higher EDS are easier to Bullshit ... Got it.
The lower income whites and lower middle income whites who make up Trump's most devoted followers would benefit from Democratic economic policies, but they are too befuddled to know it. Most obviously, they would benefit from universal health care paid for by high taxes on rich people and corporations. Like trained pit bulls they snarl at mention of "socialized medicine," Nevertheless, they rarely have health coverage at work. They can rarely afford health insurance paid for by themselves. They certainly cannot pay for serious medical emergencies. They would also benefit from generous pensions guaranteed by the government. They live from pay check to pay check, and cannot afford to save for retirement.

We should be more concerned with American workers.
Good. Let's raise the minimum wage and pass laws to strengthen labor unions. American workers would also benefit from socialized medicine and generous pensions, because they usually live from pay check to pay check, and cannot afford these themselves.

And my point is that well-educated people are more affluent and thus were more likely to escape the consequences of Biden’s policies. That leaves the working class - the largest voting bloc - who were left struggling with unaffordable groceries and rent.
If you think Trump will carry out his promises to lower groceries and rents, you are delusional.

The rich already pay the bulk of taxes, and corporations pass taxes on to the consumer in the form of higher prices. That fuels inflation, which hurts the working class and poor the most. Those are the ones you pretend to care about.

Just raising the minimum wage won’t solve anything - costs will then go up to cover the higher COGS, and it becomes a vicious cycle.me thing with “.generous pensions.” Money doesn’t fall from trees to lay foe that.

As far as socialized medicine, I got a taste of that with Obamacare. Premiums skyrocketed, deductibles skyrocketed, and the wait for services was abysmal. I remember once I had to wait nine months for an appointment for something, and the day of the appointment, THEY cancelled. They rescheduled me - for six months away.

One of the problems with liberals is they think that giving people things solves everything, not acknowledging the cost of doing so.

Well, it’s true Biden is trying to prevent that by limiting energy production, but eventually we’ll get there. At least we won’t be throwing away hundreds of billions on illegals to give them free housing and food while the working class struggle.

Liberals have a very simplistic - and false - perspective: make rich give more to the middle and working class. Two problems:

1) They already pay the lion’s share of taxes. The top 1% already pay 45% of taxes. And that’s just state income tax. When you add in state taxes and property taxes, they are “donating” 2/3rds of their earnings to other people, half of whom pay NOTHING.

2) There aren’t enough 1%ers to cover everything the libs want to be provided, so you have to drop down to the top 5%, who already pay 65% of taxes.

As it now stands, the top 25% pay 90% of the taxes, with the bottom half paying nothing. Just how much more lopsided do libs want to make things?

Denying the greenhouse effect will not make it go away. The greenhouse effect is responsible for the Los Angeles fires.

I agree with Trump on immigration, and support for Israel. I doubt his commitment to Ukraine and Taiwan.

/—-/ I thought you libtards told us the LA is a desert. Hot is hot, dry is dry, and you need to bring in fresh water and charge the hydrants.
And in a greenhouse, the moisture condenses and falls back to the ground.
Make up your minds.
