Is the "Yellow Spot" accurate?
It is from 1936. Read it and see for yourself.

THE YELLOW SPOT
the outlawing of half a million human beings :

a collection of facts and documents relating to three
years' persecution of German Jews,
derived chiefly from National Socialist sources,
very carefully assembled by a group of
investigators.

With an introduction by
THE BISHOP OF DURHAM

VICTOR GOLLANCZ LTD

Thank you very much!

Terrible History.

No one in 1936 even imagined the Holocaust was a possibility.

Some people did ...

Is there any connection between the fact that the Holocaust began around the same time that the Allies entered the war and the turning point on the Eastern Front occurred? Around 1943, and this also coincided with the split in the NSDAP.

No, because official government persecutions of Jews began when the Nazis came to power in 1933. Nuremberg Laws were passed in 1935 removing all Jews from German public life. Kristalnacht happend in 1938. Official execution of Jews in concentrations camps began shortly after.

Mass execution of Jews by Einzatzgruppen in German occupied territories began in 1941. Official plans for the "Final Solution", the execution of all Jews in every German occupied territory was formulated in 1941 and began in earnest in January of 1942.

A paper is considered official when it is officially issued.

Transcript of the interrogation of Dieter Wisliceny: "This order was issued approximately in April 1942.

Question: Who signed it?

Answer: Himmler personally."

PS The situation is further complicated by the fact that Himmler (as it is believed) betrayed Hitler, and secretly negotiated a separate peace with the Allies in the same 1942.
