Remakes are not good and like a priceless painting, it should not be duplicated, remade or touched. Deliverance with that line of boy I'm gonna make you squeal like pig???? It is not that they are trying to be woke. It is that they are being lazy. There is a real writers drought right now. Writing is a shitoad of work with no guarantee of a pay check. Even when you do sell something many times the pay is not much. The writer is the bottom feeder of the business.
