If the plague was 1,000X COVID, that would put the current death toll at 600 million in the US. That has a population of 330 million.

So doing the math, makes the Plague 100 times as bad as COVID (original strain) or 20 times as bad as Delta.

Im not furious at anyone. I almost died last November from Covid. It was my decision to get vaccinated because I’m not sure I would make it if I got sick again. Nothing is a sure thing but I did what I needed to do for me. Unless someone becomes very sick they don’t believe how serious it is.

People are 90% vaccinated where I live and life is pretty much back to normal but we’re still wearing our masks as we go about our business. It doesn’t cost us anything to do that, but it’s one of the reasons why we have almost no cases and nearly zero deaths.

The vaccine does not give a person immunity to the virus, and the only way we're going to get through this, is for the general population to develop an immunity like they have with every other virus that has come our way.

Can't agree with you on the masking; I do agree that the vaccine was okay while it worked. I'm surprised that some people here haven't yet figured out we are in a new ball game now.
