There was no minority filibuster. There was no vote at all. The minority party is not responsible for passing the majority's initiatives.

No, there was a vote, and the Democrats solidly voted against the Dreamers.

No...we don't want "open borders". We also don't want to rip kids from their parents as a deterrence.

No...we don't want to "welcome a flood of illegals". We believe in the rule of law. The current "caravan" members are asking for asylum. The law allows that. It also says that

A. In order to request asylum you must be physically in the country

B. By law if you request asylum you are guaranteed a hearing. Less than 10% of such hearings result in it being granted and that's probably as it should be.
But the law is the law

Whose everybody kidding ? over the past 30+ years – the caravan of ..."migrants" – that’s what’s been illegally passing into this country – under the cover of darkness, or by truck/car smugglers, or outright jumping over the [insane] “rickety fence” and/or trampling on farmers’ land.


It was only last week – the national guard/the troops traipsed-in and started putting up a handful of NEW barbed wire fencing and securing some rickety straw fences and changing some rusty nails………. They didn’t even think of doing this even after 9/11 -- they (you know, THEM) spend the $$ in that shithole, afghanistan....and dealing with their evil crap - and building things to fly to mars [which i love] ....BUT, again, it was only LAST week they (them) decided to ...do some half-assed PATCH WORK AT the border, and call in "the troops" to ward off these...illegal crashers.... <~~~~~ a government joke....

not President Trumps fault.....(nancy pelosi and dianne feinstein and ...jeff sessions, etc <~~~~~~ it's their fault, they've been walking the halls of congress for ...30+ years.:
