Good for you, but Capital One has always done right by me. Can't complain. I use Synchrony for my Sam's credit card for most things, but my wife carries that card, and I have several others for backup.Im closing my discover bank accounts

It sure aint, I was on a 1st date about 6 years ago and wanted to use discover so I could get some cash back and when the waitress said we dont accept discover I snapped lolI have cards with both but rarely use em. I got an email a while back about all of this but never really followed up to see what the deal was.
Haven't really used credit much over the last year or so. Heck, I don't even know what the interest rates are on em these days.
Not sure which one has a better rewards program either. I know that Discover isn't accepted everywhere but Capital One is a good card for travel abroad, historically speaking, or as far as I can remember anyway. Guess it doesn't really matter now, though, as it's a moot point wit hthe sale or merger or whatever it was that happened.
