I know you wish that were true, but it just isn't. But we do strenuously object to him taking the country in an authoritarian direction.

Following the president’s demands, his appointees have secured indictments of a few critics (including Attorney General Letitia James of New York and the former F.B.I. director James Comey) and ordered investigations of others (including Senator Adam Schiff of California). Some of these appointees were once Mr. Trump’s personal lawyers. Mr. Trump has also used executive orders to go after perceived enemies, including law firms representing his critics. And he has systematically fired government employees who played roles in earlier investigations of him or his allies.

We had the largest spike in consumer prices since the Carter Administration in 2022 (19 percent) and you want to hang that all on Trump. I know he campaigned on lowering prices so you can hold him to that but the damage was done under Biden-Harris.
Had Harris become President, she was going to put price ceilings in effect. If you understand anything about economics and a free market economy, you know that policy would have been disastrous as the inverse effect and intent would occur because fewer suppliers would be in the market causing shortages and putting financial stress on the few players remaining in each market segment.
I want to hang Trump's promises on him. He didn't say I will maintain the current inflation rate that Biden has had the past couple months; around 3%, that is much better than the high rates earlier in his term.

House and Senate Republicans are speaking out against former President Donald Trump's dinner last week with Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, and white nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes.
"There is no room in the Republican Party for antisemitism or white supremacy," Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday. "And anyone meeting with people advocating that point of view, in my judgment, are highly unlikely to ever be elected president of the United States."
Earlier in the day, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy denounced Fuentes, who is labeled as a white supremacist pundit and organizer by the Anti-Defamation League, in language similar to McConnell's, though he stopped short of condemning the former president.

The Inflation Reduction Act was a misnomer as it was simply a massive spend and had the adverse domestic impact on inflation. Coupled that with increased regulatory policies on domestic energy companies, US inflation grew 19 percent.
Biden, Harris, and the Democrats did not sit be idle and passive.
