The Socialist Plan

What you call Sanders' 'socialist' agenda, point by point, is more popular with the American people than the average rightwing anti-socialist agenda.
That IS Sanders platform RETARD. NOT what I am calling it what HE is calling it idiot. Do you DENY Sanders is a socialist? HE says He is.

He's a democratic socialist. The best position anyone can have in the 21st century.
Whatever. He wants to turn the USA into a marxist regime
From those according to their abilities. To those according to their needs.
And we know how that worked out.....
Once you run out of people and things to tax...

Every socialist should be pistol whipped in their sleep... To save the rest of the world from the cult of dumb a$$.
I say for every ILLEGAL we keep Mexico gets THREE democrats.
Time for FAIR trade.

That's why everyone around here left and right sees you as retarded.
Define everyone.....
The way I see it,m you're ther only one supporting this socialist shit.
Ok.....How will Sanders fund his free shit?

He is leading YOUR idiot party. That MAKES the party Socialist democrat.

I don't care what nuts like you call him. His positions better reflect the mainstream of American than do those of the rightwing nuts.
Oh...Ok,..This is interesting...
You lefties insist the middle class is "hard working'..They make an honest living.
So how is it you propose to fund this crap without adversely affecting the middle class?....Are you actually going to claim the middle class will be exempt from the taxation necessary to fund the free shit?

Capitalism, by definition, is not about everyone having a job. When unemployment is too low that is a bad thing for capitalists, it causes Wage Inflation.

Printing money is what causes inflation. Everyone having a good paying job is called "prosperity."
Wage Inflation, dumbass. And everyone having a good paying job is nothing like capitalism. Learn it.

Inflation is inflation. It's always caused by the Central bank expanding the money supply.

Aren't all you leftwing turds claiming that Obama put everyone who wanted a job to work?

Obama says the economy has shit daisies since he took over. I keep waiting for him to announce a tax cut we are doing so well. /sarcasm
Taxes should be raised. We still aren't paying our bills.

We should cut spending and live within our means, lets stop mortgaging the next several generations wealth so we can live high on the hog.

I want to go through his positions point by point and hear you prove that most of them are opposed by the American

People.
It doesn't matter who supports or opposes. And I can tell you no sane person would be in support of such tripe. Anyway, the fact is none of this stuff is possible because there isn't money to pay for it.

If this is high on the hog I hadn't noticed. Cut spending, grow the economy, and raise taxes. All three must be done at the very same time.

Except those who has to pay for socialist generosity. Which is never the generous socialist, generous with someone else's money. Which - eventually - runs out.
Dogma. Socialism works just fine, all over the world. It's about human decency, hence why you don't like it.
Socialism has delivered 100% failure every single time. You cannot name a socialist country that has succeeded.
I can name dozens of them, starting with Sweden. Move past the dogma and accept that Capitalism, Mixed-Economies (weak socialism), and Socialism can all work. Had communism been implemented as Marx said, and humans were of a better nature, it could work as well.

That being said, of all the systems capitalism is best suited to the lower animal nature that is humanity. It's the first step of four, only three of which are currently possible.
My limited understanding of Marx's writings was that communism was an evolution of capitalism. The question was what does one do when they have everything they could ask for? This reminds me of the question, "How can one be poor if they have a color TV?" I have seen color TV's sitting beside the road for anyone who wants it yet I have yet to see a dinner for four sitting beside the road for anyone who wants it.
To Marx the change from capitalism to communism was inevitable, with a brief period of indoctrination called Scientific Socialism. That was his dialectical materialism theme, but it never came to pass, America and other successful capitalist nations never went communist, and there is a reason for that, one being capitalism made some changes. The scientific socialism also failed and was replaced in the USSR, as was communism.
I know of no nation ever practicing Marxist communism.

If the American people want a program that is labeled socialist and they are willing to pay for it, is that OK?
No...Because once they are fully informed of the cost and the bureaucratic crap that goes with it, they would never approve such a thing.
Unfortunately, we had that very thing happen to us. Most Americans were and still are opposed to the ACA, the In the bag for Obama Congress rammed that law down out throats. And So bad is the ACA law, Congress exempted itself from the law.

If the American people want a program that is labeled socialist and they are willing to pay for it, is that OK?
Care to take a guess at what the projected tax rate would be for all that FREE stuff?
We're not allowed to mention the method by which this crap would be funded. That's violating the narrative.

Marx was an intelligent man who wrote his manifesto during the Industrial Revolution. That revolution has long since come to pass, leaving his ideas as antiquated as his current followers are fools.

The project simply required too much capital before any profit could be realized, so the rich folks of the day turned to the tool of government to make it happen.

In other words, there weren't going to be enough paying customers. That's another way to say it was a boondoggle.

Dude... that's kind of the point.

If enough paying customers were willing to buy tickets 5 to 7 years in advance, the private interests would have started the cash-flow flowing on their own.

Government is a necessary tool when the profit margin must be thin for efficiency, such as for roads and sewer systems and for fledgling industry which requires a LOT of investment up front.

It's a good thing that this country was built by men and women with vision instead of the TEA party, eh?

Y9u mean like AMTRAK? When is that going to turn a profit? How about all the mass transit systems in the country? Do any of them cover their costs? If a capital investment had a reasonable chance of making money, companies would be lining up to sink their money into it. The transcontinentals had no hope of making money.

You are aware of the fact that all the government subsidized transcontinentals went broke, aren't you?

Of course. But not before they were used to line the pockets of a few industrialists with enough spare change for some serious lobbying.

Do you really thinks that things were somehow different back then, and the investment class was altruistic in their goals?

That's funny.

So why do you want more of these boondoggles? I oppose them for the reasons outlined and also for moral reasons. The poor and middle class should not be taxed to make billionaires richer

I never said I wanted more of anything. I simply expressed an opinion on what has already happened.

What I want is a tax code that we know is fair because of it's simplicity.

That is what remains step one.

I am so glad that Senator Sanders is in this race. His candidacy is pointing out how our wingnuts want to make this a third world nation. Destroy science, make education impossible for anyone except the very wealthy. Anyone not wealthy should have the choice of staying healthy or dying. The average American should work until they drop, then they don't cost us all that money.

Dark Fury, you and the rest of the Anti-American far right are not at all representative of this nation. You are a shame to it, you are small of mind and mean of soul.
Hyperbole gets you nowhere...
Now, you assignment is to tell us how all of Sanders free shit is to be funded.

Good luck with that as Democrats pass thousands of new jobs killing regulations.

If Americans were adults luck wouldn't be necessary. We would have already done this.

It's popular with those who think all those things he supports is owed to them and that someone else should be forced to provide them. In other words, it's popular with the leeches of society.

That's one way to look at it.

Another is people with vision trying to use the tool of government to run the pesky bureaucracies that are necessary for a society to function where almost every member has running water, heating and/or air conditioning, communications out the wazoo, and relative security concerning everything from product safety to stored treasure.

Government only hurts when it's Gerrymandered in to the hands of extremists.

The industrial revolution of the 19th century was brought under control by government.

It doesn't matter who is willing. No society can tax itself into prosperity.
What kind of plan did you have in mind?

A society must INVEST itself in to prosperity, by investing in the health and education of it's citizenry as well as the travel and communications infrastructure they'll need to get to the stars.

This is a way that Monkeys can score a win in the game of biological evolution on a Timeline.
