Latvia and Lithuania have banned the use of the two letters in the context of Russian support. They didn't ban the two letters.


People who use the two letters are just trolling. I do it on my tanks in a game I play. It gets a reaction. That's all it is.


As for Azov, your claim that they have killed 50,000 is preposterous. 60% of the battalion is made up of Russian speaking Ukrainians from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, in the Donbass. The organization is a part of the Ukrainian national guard reserves, and not part of the Ukrainian army. It is virtually independent. While its original creator was a white supremacist and self avowed neo nazi, only an estimated 10% of its members actually identify as nazi, or white supremacist. The all volunteer group attracts the attention of recruits as being an elite unit that knows how to fight well, and that is the main reason why folks join the group. They aren't perfect, but they are defending their country alongside the Ukrainian army bravely.
