2) What was the purpose of her trying to breach the restricted area?
3) What was she going to accomplish once on the other side?

What is your intent. Suppose I was asked that about you!!!! Why do you believe I am the party to discuss her intent. I can formulate a guess as anybody can.
But let me explore along with you.
1. Her intent is unknown. There was nothing for her to see or do in that area. What makes you believe it was restricted?
2. Purpose was curiosity. She was not armed so she was not prepared to harm anybody. She was also a veteran of military service so it is doubtful had she got to he closed door part she could manage to do much if anything.
3. I see it as a waste of her time to get to the closed door area.

I also have been inside the capitol and in fact have been in both chambers. This allows my view to matter more than a party who never has been inside there. It was not our best day but all in all I think the mass there wanted to be involved in what they saw as a major protest. A lot of things is said among crowds. If a party wanted Pence hung, he would end up in prison. Ashli did not smash any windows. She is proven on a video to be doing what she could to prevent this. She was killed in cold blood.

The doors were definitely locked. But you totally brush off that the cops opened doors and escorted protestors and even walked away from the doors where Babbitt was killed. She had no reason to suspect she was about to be killed by cop.
