Because DirecTV is dropping the Republican propaganda channel Newsmax due to its constant lies and misrepresentations.

But, as you might expect, any effort to eliminate far right wing extremist lies from publication, is decried as "attacks on conservatism." And really, there is some truth in that, because so much of "conservative doctrine" rests on a foundation of lies. Embattled former president Trump took that to a new level which is embraced by the far right.

ATT dropped Newsmax because they don’t want voters to hear Trump’s speeches. The one he gave yesterday was terrific.

It’s the same reason that CNN stopped covering Trump’s daily pressers during COVID. They couldn’t show how much Trump was doing on one hand, and then lie to their voters and say Trump is doing nothing on the other.
