The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition. It is part of the Bill of Rights, which was added to the Constitution at the same time as the First Amendment.

Every four years, we hold a national election and the STATES elect a President to represent THEIR interests to the world. That is the sole purpose of the Executive branch of government. Haven't you ever taken a civics class?

This means that the President gets to decide the tone and tenor and content of the Voice of America given that it is a part of the government. Much like USAID, the VOA takes government funds but likes to think it is independent of the US government.

Prove first that it is Anti-American!!!! Being anti-Trump is not anti-American as there are over 70 million Americans that are anti-Trump. Do you consider them to be anti-American?

While often categorized as a democracy, the United States is more accurately defined as a constitutional federal republic. What does this mean? “Constitutional” refers to the fact that government in the United States is based on a Constitution which is the supreme law of the United States.

Not that hard. Trashing American Policy is anti-American, particularly when its to our enemies. Disagreement inside our country is one thing, but telling our allies and enemies that we are not a reliable partner is a matter of opinion by the left, not a matter of truth. It is pure anti-American agitprop.

The Constitution supports free speech of the citizens and private organizations like the media. A government entity that takes taxpayer money is answerable to the people and in this case, that is the President of the United States.

No on in America would disagree with holding VOA to pro American information and it is only a tiny minority that thinks its okay to trash America to our friends and enemies simply because they are a member of a hate cult.

The entire purpose of the Executive Branch is to deal with foreign relations and the VOA does exactly that and they WILL so so in accordance to the President, regardless of what party that President belongs, or they can face dismissal.

The VOA refused to answer to the people, it can simply be eliminated.
