The Red Scare: Newsweek Releases Most Dangerous States Map

It's a lie, simply because it's likely by population. Consider this...
Population 100K, 1000 murders
Population 50K, 501 murders

Where would you rather live?
Anywhere but either of those places because those are outrageously high murder rates. Statistically though, if those were your only two choices, you have a slightly better shot of not dying in the larger city.

See the post again if you like, I revised it. E.g. a blue state is the 2nd worst State for crime.

Newsweek produced a safety study that just released today pointing to the safest and most dangerous states.

Any surprises? Not really.

This is the conclusion of a new study by Whitley Law Firm, a personal injury law firm, who analyzed 26 different safety factors across all 50 states.

The safety factors fell into various categories including violent and sexual crimes, firearm possession among young people at schools, theft and drug crimes, environmental and infrastructure factors, such as air, water and road quality, as well as birth complications, motor vehicle accidents and fatalities and fatality rates in young people.

Each factor was scored via an index to calculate each state's overall safety score out of 100, with a score of 100 reflecting the highest level of safety. The overall score was used to determine the "most dangerous and the safest states to raise a family."
The south is fine just stay out of the black cities....

"Water quality etc."? What the hell is contained in the etc.? How does water quality etc. factor in to safety and danger? It's a B.S. attempt by left leaning Newsweek to fudge statistics with inane subjects that have no relationship to each other. Typical of the crazy green agenda but no longer relevant.

If you had to live in either:

a city of 1,000,000 and there was going to be 10 murders

or

a second city of 2 people where there was going to be 1 murder..

where would you rather be?

Duh. Rates matter, not the total.

Explain why you felt the need to reintroduce a scenario that was perfectly clear?

I answered in my response to you which was safer - the larger city in your example. You are wrong. I gave you an even easier scenario for you to understand why. Buckle up. Youre not debating one of these USMB misfits. You need to bring it.

No, you didn't. I asked what city you'd choose to live in, and you chose neither one, so you ran from it. Statistics aren't everything.

ILMAO at your example, "one murder of a two person town vs 10 murders of a million". That's not an example, it's stupid, do you really need an answer? "Gosh man, the million?"

Mansplain☺ why the second worst crime State is b b b b blue?

Maybe one with cities instead of states.
lol. You guys are drowning. There are more blue cities in blue states genius. The difference is right wing nuts.

Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota??

No, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina.

Most dangerous city in LA: New Orleans. Solid democrat and high black population
Most dangerous city in MS: Jackson solid Democrat and high black population (where I got shot)
Most dangerous city in Alabama: Birmingham solid democrat and high black population
Most dangerous city in Tennessee: Memphis solid democrat and high black population
Most dangerous city in South Carolina: Spartanburg solid democrat and high black population

They also, ironically enough, all have black (democrat) mayors.

Large cities run by democrats with a high population of blacks are the most dangerous cities in their respective states.

I rest my case.

Idaho is a very dangerous red state. Don't come here.
Ive been to 49 states. Idaho is utterly forgettable. Their biggest concert in history was, Garth Brooks in 2019, a full decade or two after he lost relevance. lol. What a rocking state.

I have no ill will toward Idaho or its folks. But the lies about Blue States by you jagoffs requires a reality check. Idaho? GTFOOH,

No, he makes a valid point. For example, bigger cities, which are likely blue, the State's crime rate doesn't reflect what's taking place.

By another example, California's city with the highest crime is Stockton, and it's blue☺

It also was, as of 2012, the largest city to file for bankruptcy

Just one measure of boredom. No sports, no arts, no great cities, nothing its people have done is meaningful or will ever matter. The best thing about Idaho is its dirt that no Idahoan had anything to do with.

See? It’s easy to run down people. Pretend like they suck ass. I don’t understand why you guys do it constantly. It’s not that fun. I’d rather talk about the things in Idaho that are nice, no matter how short the list is.
