The Red Scare: Newsweek Releases Most Dangerous States Map

Every single study shows crime is worse in red states and you retards conclude that a minority of dems in red states destroy the state but the tons of dems in the majority in blue states make them much much better. You are retarded. The problem with red states is red policies. Case closed.

Flawed studies like Third Way? Ha. Now do counties...

I have zillions of links in this thread showing it is red states. Youre just no bright enough to evaluate the data and make an informed decision. I do that for a living. That is why you cant bullshit me.

I have no doubt that you have 'data,' but I have a lot doubt in your capability to interpret said data accurately.

This whole thread is just trolling

So why is it that cities in red states are more dangerous than cities in blue states?

They're not.

We don't need to be looking at the State level.

We need (as we are already doing) to be looking at the City level.

Democratic-controlled barbarian-inhabited Big Cities with Big Ghettoes.

It's time to sortie "reliable" Guard and Regular military units into these places and keep up the pressure for a few years.

Counties also, don't forget county levels.

lol. You guys are drowning. There are more blue cities in blue states genius. The difference is right wing nuts.

Gator has conveniently ignored county data throughout the entire thread because it flips his entire narrative belief structure;

As a result, after averaging homicide rates across counties during the same time horizon, a markedly different story from the Third Way’s narrative emerges. Averaging across all counties that voted for Donald Trump yields an aggregate homicide rate of 4.06 per 100,000 people, while averaging across counties that voted for Joe Biden yields a homicide rate of 6.52 per 100,000 people. These statistics are presented in Chart 1.

While red states consistently have had higher homicide rates than blue states, blue counties have consistently had higher homicide rates than red counties, as shown in Chart 2. Specifically, homicide rates in red states (as corrected) ranged from 5.57 per 100,000 people between 2002 and 2008 to 6.33 per 100,000 people between 2014 and 2020, while in blue states (as corrected) these rates ranged from 5.14 per 100,000 people between 2002 and 2008 to 4.49 per 100,000 people between 2014 and 2020. Homicide rates in red counties, on the other hand, ranged from 3.90 per 100,000 people between 2002 and 2008 to 4.16 per 100,000 people between 2014 and 2020, while in blue counties these rates varied from 7.35 per 100,000 people between 2002 and 2008 to 6.76 per 100,000 people between 2014 and 2020.

The MSM doesn’t report this information. They prefer the state by state metric because it frames the narrative they wish to promote. Anybody from a red state can tell them that it is blue counties/areas that are the most dangerous, in fact, the same could be said for blue counties in blue states. If Democrats could take off their blue tinted glasses, they would see this also, but most of them refuse to do so for fear of what they may find, that is, that they have been thoroughly brainwashed by lies and 1/2 truths(like the fake red crime narrative) perpetuated by the MSM, elitists and our higher education system. I won’t hold my breath.
