1. Trump lunged for or grabbed the steering wheel in "The Beast" because he wanted to go to the Capitol where his supporters were going. So what? It's illegal for a politician to want to go to where their supporters are? Since when? Trump's team kidnapped him and took him to a place Trump didn't want to go instead of going to the Capitol, against his will? Don't Americans, including presidents, have the right to go where they want to go? As an aside, many secret service members on detail with Trump at the time are willing to testify that the whole story is false anyway and that Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.

2. Trump was upset that his supporters weren't getting into the pre-Capitol rally fast enough so, even though he knew some of them were armed, he wanted the metal detectors to be removed because it was slowing down his supporters from getting in and he didn't believe that any of these weapons posed a threat to him because they were supposedly all Trump supporters. It's important to note that this rally was NOT being held at the Capitol, even though many in the crowd were expected to go to the Capitol after the rally. Don't they have metal detectors at the Capitol? If Trump supporters were armed at the pre-Capitol rally wouldn't their weapons not make it through when they reached the Capitol?

I asked that question yesterday. What's the crime if it was hypothetically correct?

There were video cameras all over the Capitol on Jan 6. Not one of them picked up someone carrying an AR-15, or any other rifle.

Hell, they're not even allowed in DC.

*facepalm*

You, uh.... You really think you said something there, don't you?

Really. You don't think it's significant after being told members of the mob were armed he wanted to join them so he could lead the march to the Capital? Do me a favor. Imagine Hillary did the same thing. Demanded she be able to join an armed insurrectionist mob so she could stop the certification of her opponent. Got it?

lol wow you Klanocrat Kultists will believe anything
wise up
the whole thing is a big lie

well again, all that testimony was obviously faked because the guys who were involved weren't called. That is a glaring hole of ....lying

Engel and Ornato were both interviewed by the committee months ago.

When will the committee release their testimony and when will they be coming in for another deposition?

As I asked in the OP, these people were armed at the pre-Capitol rally but doesn't the Capitol itself have metal detectors? And, if I remember correctly, I don't remember any of the protesters at the Capitol using guns. So, the point is mute anyway.

they were interviewed but didn't testify, why? The answer is obvious, can you provide that known answer?

Perhaps their lips just couldn't be pried from the crack of the Orange ones' hefty buttocks?

The committee needs to release their first interviews and let's see what they had to say. Furthermore, lets see if the committee even asked about what happened when he got in the vehicle.
