Zone1 The real secret of Jewish success.

Even Jews have a hard time explaining their own success.

However, I think it's because Jewish mothers nag their sons into the fields of medicine, science, and law.

That sort of thing runs in Abraham's family. Sarah acted against Abraham's wishes. Jacob redefined the birthright blessings re Ephraim and Manasseh.

You mean Jewish parents encourage their kids to go into lucrative fields such as medicine and law and engineering, etc., knowing they have the intelligence to succeed in them, rather than shrug they shoulders and let them major in Ethnic Studies or Social Justice Theory - and end up working at Starbucks, supplemented with food stamps?

Sounds like Jewish parents are smart and want to raise responsible citizens.

For Jewish kids it is only a matter of which college they attend, and then which graduate school. Boys for a career, girls for a husband.
