The problems with Trump's "anger your allies" policy

European nations need to grow a pair and not depend on us to fight for them.

Yes, but Communism isn't defined as "totalitarian socialists", is it?

And was the USSR Communist? More so than China, China really isn't Communist in the slightest. Go look up Communism.

"Communism (from Latin communis, 'common, universal')[1][2] is a sociopolitical, philosophical, and economic ideology within the socialist movement,[1] whose goal is the creation of a communist society, a socioeconomic order centered on common ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange that allocates products to everyone in society based on need.[3][4][5] A communist society would entail the absence of private property and social classes,[1] and ultimately money[6] and the state (or nation state)."

1) Creation of a "Communist society". Does Xi want to create a "Communist society"? No, I don't think so. He wants a society where the CCP is at the head of the country and does whatever it wants. Most of the top leaders are supremely rich, because they care about MONEY, not people.

2) Common ownership of the means of production?

Yes, to an extent. Mostly they just want to control things. A lot of companies like Tencent, Alibaba etc, they're partially owned by the government, but run as private ventures, the banks are the same, many companies are like this. The govt profits, and the government interferes and tells people what to do, but with very much a hybrid version of it.

3) "exchange that allocates products to everyone in society based on need"?

Not at all.
Healthcare, you buy health insurance from the government, but it'll never cover your medical costs fully, if you get cancer and you're not rich, like in the US, you're dead. And other products, people earn money and they have to spend it. Housing is super expensive in bigger cities, go to Beijing, Shanghai etc and it'd take you 150 years without eating or spending money to afford a decent sized apartment.

4) Absence of social class... no, the CCP has created a new social class, like the USSR did. Absence of private property? Certainly you can't own land, beyond that, no, everything is privately owned.

5) Absence of the state... not on your life. The CCP has NO INTENTION of creating a stateless, governmentless society. It doesn't let its own people decide anything.

So, no, China is not Communist. European countries are more Communist, like the UK with the NHS.

However, being totalitarian does not equate to being Communist, as lots of Americans, like Trump and perhaps his wives, think.

There is no true communism. Read your own definition. There is only the Left's totalitarian socialism.

There are plenty of different versions of far left totalitarian governments. There are also right wing totalitarian governments.

Get your head out of the partisan gutter and realize that far-left and far-right are closer to each other than the far-left is to center-left and the far-right is to center-right.

The problem is too many people try and simplify politics. They claim there's a left and a right and that's that. You're either one or the other and no in between. It's such dumbfuckery it's ridiculous.

You can't be born "Communist".

Two of them were born IN COUNTRIES THAT CLAIMED TO BE COMMUNIST.

That's a very, VERY different thing. I doubt they even know what Communism is.
Ivana and Melania went to school where they learned Communism. They were raised Communist
They also had heavy accents that MAGA despises on anyone but a Trump wife

Do you know about the education in Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia?

Can a baby who knows nothing be political? I wasn't political until I was 18. I literally knew nothing before then.

I think trump hurt his cause by insulting America’s allies such as canada and the 51st state bs

Also Mexico and denmark

Vance also insulted all of Europe and attacked Zelensky

The US is not that popular in the world.
Conservatives may not care but those countries buy our goods. Tourists will find other countries to visit

Starving people in the world used to be fed with food bearing the American Flag. Now, it will be a Chinese flag.

I think Vance merely criticized euro policy

The same goes for zelenski

All of which is legit

So, Trump is actively angering certain countries, like Denmark (in the EU), Canada and Panama.

How will this impact the US in the future.

The main one, I'd support, especially from a Trumponian point of view, is MONEY.

"In FY2024 the total value of transferred defense articles and services and security cooperation activities conducted under the Foreign Military Sales system was $117.9 billion. "

The US made $117 billion from selling military weapons to foreign countries.

"
  • Türkiye – F-16 Aircraft Acquisition and Modernization ($23.0 billion)
  • Israel – F-15IA and F-15I+ Aircraft ($18.8 billion)
  • Romania – F-35 Aircraft ($7.2 billion)
  • Germany – PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement Missiles ($5.0 billion)
  • Japan – KC-46A Aerial Refueling Aircraft ($4.1 billion)
  • India – MQ-9B Remotely Piloted Aircraft ($4.0 billion)
  • Republic of Korea – AH-64E Apache Helicopters ($3.5 billion)
  • Spain – PATRIOT Configuration-3+ Modernized Fire Units ($2.8 billion)
  • Saudi Arabia – System Logistics and Sustainment Support ($2.8 billion)
  • Romania – M1A2 Abrams Main Battle ($2.5 billion)
  • Japan – Tomahawk Weapon System ($2.4 billion)
  • Bahrain – M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks ($2.2 billion)
  • Australia – AUKUS-related Training and Training Devices ($2.0 billion)
  • Greece – UH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters ($1.95 billion)
  • Norway – AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles ($1.94 billion)
  • Poland – AGM-158B-2 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile with Extended Range ($1.77 billion)
  • Poland – AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles ($1.69 billion) Poland – Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missiles – Extended Range ($1.275 billion)
  • Poland – Airspace and Surface Radar Reconnaissance ($1.2 billion)
  • Austria – UH-60M Blackhawk Helicopters ($1.05 billion)
  • Saudia Arabia – Blanket Order Training ($1 billion) "

Right there you have $17.9 billion going to EU countries, and these are examples for 2024

For 2023 you have:

"Poland bought Apache helicopters for $12bn, and also paid $10bn for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (Himars) and $3.75bn for M1A1 Abrams tanks," "It also spent $4bn on Integrated Air and Missile Defence Battle Command Systems."

That is a lot of money, nearly $30 billion just to Poland. As the EU now mistrusts the US, it will almost certainly start producing more of its own weaponry, and the US will lose a lot of this money.
The EU will only produce enough weapons to defend themselves, and it will take them a LONG time do accomplish that alone. Nah, the US has a lock on arms sales to nations. As long as we keep investing enormous sums of money into advancing our military tech, these sales to Europe and the world will continue.

Does the US meet its NATO commitments?
The US does spend a lot of money on the military, but the US spends a lot of that money on other things, things that aren't about NATO.
How much does the US actually put in towards NATO?
Japan and Korea... costs quite a bit, all the Pacific... none of that is NATO....
1. Yes the US meets it NATO commitment. 1b/29b = 3.4% >2%
2. NATO's commitment is at least 2% of GDP on defense

You fucking dope. That’s from 2023. It notes that an additional 18 countries will reach (by now probably have reached) the 2% mark.
And do we really care if Luxembourg spends 2% of their GDP on the military? Moron
Your typing does not trump my link, moron.

China released a virus that caused a world pandemic and gets a pass.

Trump is verbally harsh to people and their heads explode.

This is a them problem.

Next to Trump, China looks like the adult in the room when it comes to free trade.

China will offer trade agreements while Trump demands tariffs

:oops8:

Looks like Norway is gonna be a big help. :laughing0301:

Our first test flight met all our expectations, achieving a great success," Daniel Metzler, Isar's chief executive and co-founder, said in a news release. "We had a clean liftoff, 30 seconds of flight and even got to validate our Flight Termination System."
