The problems with Trump's "anger your allies" policy

You do know that UK parliament you've cited is in Britain, not America...right?
Is it really so hard to keep track of 2 post conversation?
Go back to your post #26 and see that you replied to my post that Biden is held in contempt by British Parliament and your reply was "what's this?" Then posted nonsense about Britain.

My reply was "This" is Britain not America. Your post does not refute that Britain holds Biden in contempt.

Trump apparently doesn't anger US allies as much as senile Joe Biden.

Britain clearly aproving of Biden way more than of Trump is not relvant? :cuckoo: :cuckoo: :cuckoo:

Yes this is America, and yes over there is Britain and they think we are losing our goddamn fn mind by electing, and then again re-electing a degenerate like Trump.

Not relevant.

Does Britain hold Trump in contempt? NO

Enjoy the next 4-years!

1. Yes the US meets it NATO commitment. 1b/29b = 3.4% >2%
2. NATO's commitment is at least 2% of GDP on defense

When the US spends military money on paying for healthcare for its troops who were seriously injured in the Iraq War, does this constitute "NATO commitment"?

This is the problem. You don't know, or don't care to see, what the US is spending military money on.

Most NATO countries do not have entanglement with non-NATO issues.

The US armed forces will spend $10.25 billion on healthcare for soldiers.

$1.65 billion goes on housing

$9 billion goes on construction

Germany spends $75 billion on the whole of its armed forces. That's 2% of its GDP.

$161 billion goes on Procurement.

However the US makes loads of money from this. They made $117 billion from this. So, the reality is they're spending $44 billion.

$8.5 billion a year is spent on having troops in South Korea and Japan, which probably doesn't cover the total cost of how much it really costs.

So, the reality is the US is not spending a lot of this money on NATO, it's spending it on other things.

It takes the raw figure and says "hey, we're spending this much on the military, so we're spending this much on NATO" which is a lie.

The US has way more things going on that most other countries. Germany would be ready to put a lot of its military up for NATO, the US wouldn't be able to, in the event of some kind of war against NATO.

Trump is attempting to make deals by insulting and threatening other countries

China will come in as the good guys who are offering trade partnerships rather than trade wars

Again, like I already pointed out. China released covid, adn gets a pass. Trump uses some harsh language and people have a fucking meltdown.

This is a them problem. This is them being retarded.

Our former friends aren't going to sit there and take it,

Yep, the EU are 450,000,000 freeloaders who depend on the 330,000,000 US taxpayers and US military to protect them from Russia.

Starving people in the world used to be fed with food bearing the American Flag. Now, it will be a Chinese flag.

So, you're saying that we should continue being everyone else's patsy and piggy bank?
Buying allegiance from grifter nations is questionable foreign policy.....~S~

Your typing numbers is nonsense. Here are the facts

Approximately 10-15% of the U.S. defense budget is allocated to Europe. This allocation includes funding for military operations, bases, and partnerships as part of NATO commitments and other security measures.
The U.S. defense budget for the fiscal year 2023 was around $816 billion. This suggests that between $81.6 billion and $122.4 billion is directed towards Europe. This expenditure encompasses various aspects, such as:
  • Military Presence: The U.S. maintains bases in several European countries, including Germany, Italy, and the U.K. These bases facilitate quick troop deployment and sustain U.S. military readiness in the region.
  • NATO Contributions: The U.S. plays a leading role in NATO, contributing significantly to its budget. In 2021, U.S. contributions accounted for about 22% of NATO’s common funding.
  • Joint Exercises and Training: The U.S. funds joint military exercises with European allies. Such activities enhance interoperability between U.S. forces and NATO allies.

Why should US taxpayers pay $122b a year to protect the EU?
Per the NATO commitment we only need to spend 2% of our GDP on defense, not in the EU
If we add how much military aid we gave to Ukraine, that number increases significantly.

Better to threaten them with a military invasion?

Carrot or the Stick?

Is the US protecting the EU though? No, it's using the EU and UK to project its own power. Why do you think the US has so many bases around the world?

Here's a wikipedia map of countries with US bases. It's not because they're protecting these countries. Japan and South Korea and Australia to help control the Pacific. The Japanese don't want them there, especially in Okinawa.
All those bases in Europe are ON THE WAY TO OIL RICH COUNTRIES in the Middle East. The US uses a LOT OF OIL.

Fought the Iraq War for OIL.

So, Trump is actively angering certain countries, like Denmark (in the EU), Canada and Panama.
And? Who gives a shit what those countries think. The days of the U.S.A. being a doormat for our supposed allies, like Panama who tried to cut a sweetheart deal with CHINA for a canal we f'ing built are over!

A true ally doesn't intentionally screw you over, rip you off, try to take you to the cleaners at every opportunity while talking shit about you.

Right
Who cares what other countries think?

After 9-11, all those countries rallied around us
Joined in Bush’s War on Terror
Sent troops to support us in Afghanistan and Iraq
Joined Bush’s “Coalition of the Willing”

Today, most of the world would tell Trump to go fuk himself.

^^^ member of the doormat party. Coming together to fight terrorism has nothing to do with the economic war these same countries wage on the U.S. Go find a brain then return to the discussion.

Okay, if the US taxpayers wasting $122b a year keeping US troops in the EU, helping the EU economy isn't appreciated, we should bring our troops home. No problem, right?

A huge part of it is that we have a fiat currency where we are losing control. Gold and Silver are barbarous relics according to the financiers. Minerals and oil though are foundation.

While a certain weight of gold can still buy what that same weight of gold could buy fifty years ago.
