Congress hasn’t succeeded in passing a comprehensive immigration reform bill since the Immigration Reform and Control Act ( IRCA) of 1986, 36 years ago.

The new Congress will convene on January 3, 2023, at noon.

Refusing to confront the issue and exploiting it as an elective gimmick has persisted for far too long.

If the American people want the issue addressed, insist that elected representatives do what they were elected to do.

That isn't continuing to point fingers for partisan purposes while wallowing in legislative indolence.

Like everything else, especially with Democrats, the problem isn't that we don't have any / don't have effective laws. The problem is they are never enforced.

Tbe laws passed,it serms for the left, is not to solve / accomplish anything but to keep moving the 'football' closer and closer to their end-game agenda.

Case in point, the end-game regarding the 2nd amendment for Democrats is to Disarm the American people and repeal / get around the 2nd Amendment.

No? Year ago Democrats slid inside a key piece of legislation (that had nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment) an attempt to outlaw American citizens' ability to own 'missiles' ... then attempted to define ALL bullets / ammunition as ... yep, you guessed it - 'missiles'. It failed.

When such attempts fail and laws stand in their way, no matter what the cost, Democrats simply ignore and violate the law.

Back to my main point...

The problem is NOT that we don't have any or even adequate US Immigration laws. Ut is that the Democrats completely ignore / violate those laws...even at tbe vost of national security and the vost to American lives.

The list of laws Biden and Democrats have violated regarding their intended,on-going Open Border illegal invasion is extremely long. ( I created a thread in which each, not totally inclusive, I am sure, was listed amd discussed.)

Democrats have violated and continue to violate a host of laws, have placed a huge number of restrictions on US BP and other law enforcement agencies, and has tried to reduce US BP manning and their budget to the point they can not do their job.

Biden's / The Democrats' end-game regarding their illegal invasion agenda us nothing short of allowing as many in as possible (Biden set a new US record for over 2 million in just less than a year) before granting full amnesty and citizenship.

The US is the only nation in the world doing this / these things, undermining and jeopardizing its own existence this way.

No new law can undo / fix this, and the people we have in office have no desire or intention of doing so.
