The Politics of the US has been a battle between conservatives and liberals, less government and more government, Federalists and Republicans, Democrats and Republicans since day one.

These nut cases that feel the world is going to come to an end because of the Obama Presidency should read a little history. Our country has been a balancing act between conservatism and liberalism through out history.

Looking back you see chicken little's predicting the end of our republic based on either conservative or liberal leadership. We have survived and have thrived.

The only true threat to our country are those who are trying to not honor a duly elected President. Those who discuss a revolution because an elected President isn't doing what they want.
These are individuals who are too weak to work within our political system. Those who do not have the skill sets to work within our system. Those who do not have the intelligence to work within our system.
Our first two Presidents were Federalists. Wild eyed critics claimed the big governement they created would not work. Washington and Adams were called traitors. Does that sound familiar.

I knew the wackos that are spewing their Obama hate do not want to address they sound like

George Washington's critics and John Adams critics.

You are 100% right, ElmerMudd.

The whackos can't argue intelligently with what you posted, so they have ignored you.

Excuse moi. I hate to burst your bubble, I really do......but the present battle is between the fascists and the socialists - between those who want a bureaucrat's fingers up their nose 75% of the time and those who want them stuck up their proboscis 100 % of the time.

The federal government controls every aspect of our lives , with the possible exception of passing gas , but I am not fully familiar with EPA rules.

.

speaking of chicken little, how's algore doing?

Nothing ever changes...but that's not a bad thing. Even idiots that call Al Gore algore have their place in the world. Though of course it's funny to laugh at them.

The dissenters today appear to be more vicious and ignorant than those of the past. I hope I am wrong. Maybe I am over reacting.

My concern is the vicious, ignorant Americans who believe Obama will ruin our country will turn their words into actions.

They are the true threat to our Republic.
